Pros: Pool area and the beach it sits on is lovely and was the highlight of our stay. Our room was very clean. Good location as it was an easy walk to a large grocery store and some food options. Cons: Property is a bit run down, especially the room we stayed in. Things were broken and furnishings outdated.

This is a small hotel without some of the big resort amenties like multiple food options, organized activities at the pool and beach and entertainment. But if you are looking for great beach, ocean view rooms with balconies, clean rooms, safe neighbourhood with lots of great restaurants and grocery store all walkable and a very friendly staff this is a great choice.

Great hotel on the beach

The room was very clean. Furniture was uncomfortable so I was disappointed about that, as all I really wanted was a comfy chair on the balcony. Loungers were limited poolside. Staff were extremely nice EXCEPT for Maria. She's billed as concierge, but acts like ALL the other hustlers. It took 2 days before leaving me in peace. I spent the budget getting here. I cannot abide all the hustlers I had to encounter on this trip. If I want to go on an excursion or see a time share I'm pretty sure I can ask about it myself.

Resort is very basic, a bit tired and old. Food at the breakfast buffet was so-so. Pool and beach area were both very nice.

We have returned to Posada Real because of the great location fantastic staff and reuniting with travellers that return at the same time as we do! One area of concern is the tracks on the sliding doors in the bathrooms. Please have staff use a steam sprayer to eliminate the stuff that collects there.

We had the best room ever ... perfect ocean view right from our bed!!!!! Great balcony. Beautiful sunrises! Nice, humble, quiet, beach hotel. Overall the hotel seemed clean. Beautiful beach but couldn't swim in the ocean :( Felt the Mexican food options were lacking. Small buffet, a bit tiresome, but good fruit normally. Loved our room the most!

Old place so it was quite not sound proofing but nice staff and location.

This resort was just what we needed! It was clean, food was good and the staff were amazing! Will be booking next year. If you are looking for a 5 star experience well you wont have that here. But the staff treat you like a 5 star establishment. The pool was amazing and the swim up bar was just what i needed. Its more of a relaxed and chill environment with all the guests. Almost every guest we talked to were repeats some coming back every year for almost 18 - 20 years. Cant wait to come back!
