Ice machine was far. Not enough lighting. Area feels a little sketchy.

Interesting location, on the former air base of McClellan. Area is well maintained and looks beautiful with the flowers. Room was ok, cleanliness could be better and the facilities are outdated. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was disappointing, scrambled eggs were disgusting, and the rest was very basic.

This is a two star hotel at best.

I did like that it was an army station before... I did not like that we had to walk ti the main building for breakfasts. I did not like that we were put in the old buildings even though The Lion Gate had a new side....

Short one night stay before moving out of state. Everything was great except for the free breakfast buffet. It was edible but mediocre. Eggs and bacon ok, biscuits and gravy were lacking due to poor quality gravy with a flavor that wasn’t bad but it was definitely odd. OJ was obviously from frozen concentrate and and was a bit more bitter and barely sweet. Service at breakfast was great. All staff I encountered during my stay were friendly and courteous.

This is the second time staying at this hotel. The staff, from check-in clerks to housekeeping and maintenance, are always very friendly. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. They serve a free breakfast in the morning that is very good. I definitely would recommend Lions Gate Hotel to anyone looking for a clean, affordable, safe place to stay.

Our room was not terrible. Some of the handles where wobbly. The shower was a little uncomftorable. It was very hard jets. The hot tub was super hot and the pool was freezing but than again I came in April so not too hot yet. Staff was great but maids didnt really come by. Loved how their was excessive amount parking and not far from everything.
