From the moment we arrived at The Sherry-Netherland, we were treated like royalty. The level of service and attention to detail was beyond exceptional—truly a five-star experience in every way. We came to celebrate our anniversary, and the staff made it incredibly special. From a warm welcome at check-in to the thoughtful touches in our room—like champagne and a handwritten note—it was clear they went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Our room was beautifully appointed, combining old-world elegance with modern comfort. The location couldn’t have been more perfect for a romantic weekend in New York City. The Sherry-Netherland is more than a hotel—it’s an experience. If you’re looking for timeless luxury, impeccable service, and a place that feels both grand and intimate, this is it. Located across the street from Central Park. Wonderful service and comfortable beds. Our room was very quiet and we did not hear any street or outside noise at all.

Beautiful Art deco hotel that is close to all attractions and subway. Spacious rooms that are luxuriously decorated.

Lovely hotel and superb staff

This is a luxurious hotel with impeccable and friendly service. We enjoyed the history and the great location, and we hope to return some day. Our only personal 'negative' is that although it's popular for hotels to use goose down duvets, we always remove them as they are too warm for our taste. We encourage providing a light blanket as a choice. Thanks for a wonderful vacation, one that will live long in our memories.

The staff was great, the room was fantastic. I can only give 4 stars though, as the bed was hard as a rock and my wife barely slept.

A legendary hotel, outspent by the bigger brands in terms of publicity seeking prestige, but every bit the quality that has made this hotel so legendary.

This is a cool historical hotel and the location right across the street from the park is fantastic. It’s a bit past its prime but the lingering grandeur from its heyday is still present here and there. Our room was very small and “interior” - which means we had a close up of the brick exterior of the building next door as the only view from our window. I gave 4 stars as the room and condition of the hotel did not quite match the price but perhaps it’s location location location. We also ordered room service for dinner and breakfast from Ciprianis and it was excellent (chicken was really great). We wouldn’t mind staying here again but would definitely try an alternative in the same location if the price was better.

I have stayed at the Sherry Netherland for many years, and it's always a delight. The mid-town location is perfect, the hotel is elegant and quiet, but there is lots of action in the bar.

Great reception, super friendly staff. Location is perfect across from Central Park. Side door entrance to Cipriani restaurant is very convenient. We had an awesome meal there plus a few Bellinis

We had a great stay! Room was amazing, the turn down service was a nice unexpected treat, staff was helpful and polite, bed was comfortable and the area was in the perfect location!
