My stay at the Radisson Hotel Panama Canal was exceptional, thanks to both the property and its staff. Each morning began with the excellent daily breakfast at the Bridge View Restaurant, where the spread was fresh, varied, and always satisfying. Lunch at the Lobby Bar was a standout, so much so that I ordered the shrimp and pasta twice. Perfectly cooked, flavorful, and memorable, it was one of the best meals I’ve had at any hotel. Dessert was equally impressive: the Bailey’s Tres Leche cake was monumentally good, truly worth a trip to Panama on its own. Drinks were another highlight, with the sangria and piña colada both refreshing and expertly prepared. For my daily caffeine fix, Café 1914 delivered consistently excellent café lattes, a ritual I looked forward to each afternoon. Beyond the food and drink, service made the stay special. Check in was a breeze and the front desk staff was always polite and helpful. My room attendant, Eloisa, took wonderful care of me, ensuring I was always stocked with coffee and creamers, small touches that made a big difference. The combination of attentive staff, delicious dining, and comfortable accommodations made this hotel a perfect base for exploring the canal. I left with fond memories and a strong desire to return.

This is a lovely hotel surrounded by nature and well located at the Pacific entrance of the Panama Canal. You can see the vessels in and out very close. Rooms are nice and spacious, breakfast is good. There is a TGI Fridays in the premises. Great experience.

The hotel must of been a beauty in its day. The location and views of the canal were amazing. I feel as if I was treated as a second class guest because I booked through hotels.com. Our room was close to unsalable, needed lots of maintenance. Couldn’t adjust temperature, yes I did ask for assistance he couldn’t help. Got lots of no’s with nice smiles. Wanted it to be great, it was mediocre.

We loved the Radisson and sitting on the balcony watching the ships go in and out of the canal. The property was clean and well maintained. Staff was wonderful and the restaurants were a plus.

Breakfast was good, staff was friendly, the room was clean, I loved that the pool was renewed, the last time we came the tiles were broken and the paint was deteriorated and there was a gritty feeling in the pool… so thumbs up for this change!

The location is the best, calm, quiet and clean environment. The views, scenes without having to actually go pay to view the canal. Restaurants an extra additional convenience.

The staff at the hotel was not accommodating at all. When advised on issues with the room, there was no response until we had to make a number of calls. The room was not cleaned properly causing us to have to call guest services repeatedly. There were delays in someone even answering the phone. The choices for breakfast were very limited and the food was cold. We will not visit this hotel again.

If you stay more than a couple days bring water and coffee pods. Everything else was great. Breakfast was so so.

The property was in repair and didn't notify us until we were there staying for 4 nights that the pool would be closed. We got a suite on the canal view so payed top dollar. There is a smell of septic when we walked in the hall to go for breakfast. Also at the pool area. The new staff are amazing kinds and helpful. The staff are not around on Sundays. The pool towels were non on that day told a staff and took 2 hrs to find more. Breakfast is nice but the meat options are very Panamanian. Not up to hotel standards for around the world. We pay for the breakfast at least some bacon ocationaly would be nice. We tried the lunch in the hotel it was not that good. Cocktails are very overpriced. We have been coming to this hotel for 18 yrs sometimes twice a yr. And did find the place cleaned up somewhat. Shuttle service to airport was very good priced properly and very new cars and nice drivers. Overall we would try again . Hopefully new management sort out the issues.
