We have stayed at Maui Banyan several times we always love the property because it’s close to restaurants and shopping and the beach. I would always choose to stay there when staying in Kihei.

Loved the location! property was nice. I had a 1 BR suite. clean and well stocked with kitchen essentials. I did not like paying the cleaning fee $230, but having to take my own garbage out, put dishes in dishwasher and start. The fee was steep for not cleaning daily

We had one issue with cleanliness, but Jessica offered options that helped a lot. The grounds and landscaping was so beautiful!

Nice place at a good location. Room did get a bit stuffy without the AC on, but that was expected.

This location near the beach (about a block away) is ideal, and the condo unit we stayed in was lovely and very comfortable, with a kitchen, sitting area, washer/dryer and lanai. It was a very quiet and relaxing place to stay!

Nice condo - good space and clean. The amenities the place offered was very limited. It would have been nice to have beach chairs, umbrellas etc. to use at the beach instead of renting them from a different business. The rent and fees were quite high for what we got. I would try to go elsewhere if I visited again.

Not that impressed with our actual room!!! But, the grounds were kept up very well and staff was always friendly and willing to help. It was across the street from the beach and walking distance to some great restaurants.

We were informed that the locks would be changed to pass codes. We did not receive a call from the front desk and we were surprised to get a pounding knock on the door. My son was getting ready to go out in the adjoining room and the locksmith just opened it with no regard if someone was in it.

There was no maid service for the entire stay. We asked for additional paper coffee cups and they refused. It was a convenient place to stay but parking was awful and the lack of amenities was disappointing. I would not recommend it for more than a night maybe two.

We loved the customer service with Shenelle, she was very professional and helpful. We had an issue with the room they put us in, but we arrived late and settled in for the night, by morning Shenelle had us figured out and in the right accommodations, from that point on it was a wonderful stay. I would recommend calling the hotel directly for the reservation of your room, as we used Expedia and it was very misleading. We also had friends that experience the same thing in the past and thankfully the hotel was accommodating in correcting it immediately.

Across the street from two gorgeous beaches, one mostly sand, the nearer one with volcanic rocks which yield some fun tide-pools. Very short walk to three strip-malls, full of stores and restaurants: seafood, Mexican, Thai, fine dining, coffee, ice cream, shave ice--it's all an easy walk. Lots of pedestrian crossings over to the beach. We're so glad we didn't spend the extra money to stay on the beach side. Service was good, not exceptional; we had to ask for extra pillows a second time--not a big deal. Now that we know the Kihei area, we would happily stay there again.
