A shout out to the chap on reception Simon. He was friendly, kind and couldn’t do enough for me and all with a smile. The room was basic but clean, comfy bed, nice and warm, tea and coffee is always a nice touch. Breakfast good too.

The stay was perfect the room was lovely and facilities and it was nice and cosy and warm for me an my family .

Our room and bathroom had been recently refurbished and was bright and comfortable.

Ett charmigt hotell, med Brittisk standard. Rena rum. Väldigt bra frukost, med menyval av varma rätter som bland annat ägg royal, pankakor mm. Om man ville ha något annat än det på menyn så var det inga problem. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Det som inte var så bra var att varmvattnet var så varmt så man nästan skållade sig när man duschade, trots att termostaten var på det kallaste, men det är ju ett lyxproblem.

This venue suited my needs well

The room that we were first given was very dusty and looked as if it had not been cleaned for a long time so we were given another room. In this room the heating did not work so we were given a stand alone heater. The up side was that the gentleman on reception did everything he could to resolve these issues which he did to our satisfaction. The breakfast was very nice and the service from the one lady that went round like a hurricane doing everything was first class.

Lovely 4 night stay for a family wedding nearby. Rooms are big but no aircon, provided with a fan but during the heatwave, wasn't powerful enough. Hotel could do with investing in decents fans. No lift at the hotel, reception staff were great with luggage but not ideal for them or visitors. Jodie was particularly helpful and couldn't do enough for us! Breakfast was great, however, had a different chef on our final day and we could tell instantly as it wasn't as good.
