It was an awful 3 night stay . 1. Mold in shower . 2. No water pressure . 3 . Fire/smoke detector kept going off . We addressed the issue w management..they switched us to a different room …still not very clean MUSTY! Side note they only clean your room every 3rd day . So on our last day we requested our room cleaned front desk said NO ,after the hassle the 1st day REALLY, but then a cleaning lady showed up MIRACULOUSLY! Guess what fire / smoked detector went off on or last night At 2am on our last night in the new room ! No sleep ! It was a nightmare experience! We did try to get our money back to switch to a hotel down the road but they said NO ! Coconut grove is a special area but I’ll never EVER stray from major hotel chains were they will make a horrible situation RIGHT ! This place could care less ! Stay away FAR AWAY from the Mutiny ! Coming back from a vacation shouldn’t be exhausting! Horrible Horrible filthy place !

Great stay

The property is in a great location that gives you access to all the Coconut Grove

Run down and filthy. Extra fees that you don't know about until you're there. Think resort (this is definitely not), and cleaning fees. Look at the carpets...nothing's getting cleaned around The Mutiny. They've sprayed so much fragrance that you get a headache soon as you walk in. Other than a great location, this place is a dump.

We liked the property. Convenient location.

We were in town for my son’s wedding. The Mutiny was conveniently located near all of the locations for the various wedding events (rehearsal, pre-wedding reception and wedding). The staff particularly the valet/bellmen were very helpful with us moving in and out of the hotel frequently. The room was spacious, clean and relatively quiet. They were attentive to our needs including bringing an iron and board when needed. It was a very nice stay!

Beautiful property, excellent location, good food and cocktails, comfortable accommodations. Felt luxurious. Complaints: Some kind of construction was happening on an upper floor or roof. They were lowering down debris just to the right of our balcony into a dumpster fully visible below. A small piece fell onto me at one point. Some bulbs missing. Could have called for them to be replaced but didn’t. If visiting Key Biscayne National Park, be aware this hotel is an hour from the Visitor’s Center even though it appears very close to the key. Coconut Grove is the real reason to stay here!

There was roaches in the room and so much dirt in places thru the room

We only stayed 1 night and had to hurry out in the morning, so we didn't have time to enjoy and explore the area. But the room was beautiful the view looking down on the pool area was beautiful. Breakfast at the Hotel restaurant was excellent, and the staff was happy and helpful.

Work related stay, had to be short stay

You are paying for the location of this property. Service and condition of the room (at least the one I stayed in) was poor.

Loved the place and its location. Our room/suite was nice but a bit more dated than expected though.

Not worth the price. Bathtub didn’t drain when showering so standing in water as you shower. Bathroom sink so high had to stand on tippy toes to brush my teeth. (I’m 5’3” tall.) Hotel site says restaurant open 7 days for breakfast. Not true. Closed on Mondays. Limited toilet paper in room. Staff minimally helpful. For the price, stay elsewhere.

The property is showing its age.

Nice place I think the showers need updating no where to put soap or shampoo inside shower area need corner shelves or a nich

Hot tub didn't work. Twice we couldn't find the valet. Half used toiletries. Dead bug in the tub and dust on the night stand.

Had a horrid smell in my room they didn’t change. As well as it not being the cleanest

My only issue was the water temperature in the shower which was very hot. Other than that, great place to stay
