The hotel is within walking distance of the main attractions, which is very convenient. However, there are some homeless people near the entrance, which can create a sense of insecurity. The room was clean, but the bathroom didn’t have a proper shower—just a wall-mounted faucet. There were no blackout curtains, and a streetlamp outside kept the room bright all night. It rained during our stay, and water got into the room. Although we reported it, the staff didn’t believe us and only gave us a few rugs to manage the situation. The room had no amenities other than the air conditioning, which was very much appreciated during the heatwave. The breakfast staff was very friendly, though the breakfast itself could be significantly improved.

Average, fine for a night. Access is difficult, location is good, but the street it is in is not particularly nice. Probably wouldn’t stay again and would have preferred to not have been there travelling alone!

Hotellet ligger centralt så lätt att nå många sevärdheter till fots. Städning, service och tillgänglighet var på topp och extra plus för kylskåp på rummet. Det enda något besvärliga var det trånga badrummet, att sitta damsadel på toaletten var en ny erfarenhet 😉

Location was close to many attractions. Grocery store located accross street to get snacks and drinks. Room was spacious with high ceilings. Bathroom was on the smaller side. Breakfast was average. Staff was helpful and friendly. Small elevator available otherwise you have to walk four fights of stairs to get to reception desk.

Der Preis für die Lage war gut. Die Ausstattung war okay und gratis WLAN gab es auch. Leider war die Dusche mies. Der Wasserdruck war quasi nicht vorhanden und die Dusche befindet sich im WC / Waschbecken. Auch waren die Fenster nicht dicht, sodass der Stadtlärm durchaus zu hören war. Parkmöglichkeiten sind in der Stadt sehr schlecht, wenn man mitten am Tag kommt. Musste im übersteuern Parkhaus parken. Das Frühstück war okay und das Personal nett.

Väldigt slitet och trött hotell. Vi bodde 2 nätter, fick det inte städat på rummet och när vi påpekade detta fick vi reda på att städpersonalen har gått hem.

Posizione ottima, personale professionale e molto gentile. Colazione nella media, non manca niente dal dolce al salato. La doccia si trova tra la porta d'ingresso del bagno e il lavandino pertanto ci si cammina sopra ogni volta che si deve raggiungere il lavandino. In bagno non ci sono piani di appoggio

Fint sted og veldig sentralt. Veldig bra frokost og hyggelig personale. Ligger i 4 etasje i en noe slitt bygning, men alt i alt et bra sted å bo.

The rooftop patio was a lovely feature, room was clean, breakfast was good, excellent location. A little quirky, office is on 4th floor, but our room was on the 1st floor. Ever time you left the hotel, you had to leave the room key. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The location of the hotel was great. However, the shower was much smaller than anticipated. Additionally, the room window was left open leading to many mosquitoes. Finally, although breakfast was supposed to end at 10, it was mostly cleaned up with little food left by 9:30. Despite these drawbacks, the location and walkability as well as near by dining options make this a desirable accommodation.

Disappointing Stay – Outdated, Uncomfortable, and Poor Service Hotel Bodoni is well-located within walking distance of Florence’s main sights, but that’s about the only highlight. Reaching the fourth-floor hotel is a hassle due to a tiny, slow elevator that barely fits two people with luggage. Inside, we encountered a pest issue—mosquitoes and flies were present in the room and hallways, with bottles of bug spray left out, raising concerns about cleanliness. The room was dated and poorly maintained. The bathroom had no shower barrier, leading to a soaked floor, low water pressure, and one night with barely any hot water. The toilet also leaked, making it feel unsanitary. Service was fine initially but turned dismissive when we raised concerns. The outdated key system added to the frustration, with unclear instructions and a bulky metal key. While breakfast was decent and the location central, the poor facilities, bugs, and service made for an uncomfortable stay. Look elsewhere unless you’re on a very tight budget.

Very noisy area the hotel bathroom was less than 3ft wide and the toilet you had to sit on an angle. The wardrobe handles were broken Staff were functional and had to ask for the WiFi code Although close to the cathedral over a mile from the train station through narrow streets

Adorei o hotel, muito bem localizado. Super indico.

A good place to stay a couple blocks away from the center of the city. A Safe neighborhood.
