The place

Checked in and checked out with a full refund. Beds were disgusting and bathroom was filthy. Unkept hotel.

Good little hotel to stay at for an overnight stop to Chicago. It was just the right price and size for the short overnight stay.

You get what you pay for and this was a cheap hotel. Won’t waste time nor money on this place again.

Noisy place. Hot water was barely warm. Terrible hard bed. I felt extremely unsafe there.

Breakfast is 2 choices of cereal and maybe mini muffins if they have them. They did have coffee, juice and milk.

The room wasn't as clean as we would have liked it to be. Didn't feel comfortable showering as it was dirty.

Wish I could add more pics of this place but it won’t let me. If I could have cancelled and gotten my money back, I would have. This place is gross when you really look at that. As soon as I walked in I had a bad experience with the guy saying I had to pay a $50 deposit that is non refundable for whatever reason. Had 3 tired children on a road trip so we had to endure this place. Screen on window was half broken out which I’m pretty sure is a hazard and a fire code violation. Dirty stops under sink. Holes and scratches all over the bedding. Shower was the worst. Literally gagging while I was using the restroom. They can’t even fill the Kleenex box. Place needs a thorough cleaning and dusting.

There was a discrepancy between the room's advertised amenities and the actual room. Specifically, the photo depicted a sauna, which was not present in the room.

Can tell its in the rough part of town

We booked 2 rooms. It appeared that neither had been cleaned. 1 had hair in the tub and rumpled sheets, wood was rotted out under a rusted refrigerator, floors were dirty. The other room smelled of smoke. They did move us to 2 cleaner rooms. Still rotted wood under dirty refrigerator and dirt along the baseboards and a toothpick sticking out from under bed frame. Bottom line, it was nasty.

Breakfast is coffee with powdered cream (but seemed to be out most of the time), juice cereal and mini muffins. The room didn't have a blow dryer. The door security flip lock was broken off. Front desk staff seemed to keep guests waiting a long time to check in/help. It was ok for the price.

The insulation in the shower needs to be replaced, the shower head was spraying water all over the ceiling and the walls. The towels need to be washed better, half of the towels had make up stains and some other stains that did not wash out properly and the towels looked yellowish. The window air-conditioning unit was leaking water on the floor. The location was convenient though, very close to the shopping plaza with everything you need. Also close to Indiana dunes park.

Reasonable room rate, direct access to I-65. Clean and comfortable room.

My husband and son went to check in and the front desk could not find the reservation. My husband told him he had the itinerary number and the refused to look it up. I ended up calling the hotel and the guy tells me there is no room booked. I told him that we had the reservation number and he finally found our room. We thought that would the end of the issues but then they get to their room and it is dirty. Bed unmade and slept in from the guest before, trash can full, used towels in the bathroom. My husband went back down and told the front desk. They came up with him and moved their room. They were woke up multiple times with people screaming and slamming doors at all hours of the night. Breakfast was a joke, the only thing offered was cereal. Horrible experience from start to finish!

Quiet and cozy

Sheets dirty, tv did not have signal and remote did not have batteries

The room was dirty. Every cabinet and table had stickiness on it as well as rings from cups/cans. The chair at the desk had what appeared to be a piece of cake on it. Nothing had been cleaned. The shower had mold growing on the shelves, hair on the walls, and brown stains on the shower curtain and towels. Staff were nice and professional though. The breakfast was just cereal, nothing warm. I wouldn't stay here again.
