The property is relatively old and has been renovated however, you could tell they just added some new paint and new furniture. The rooms could do well with some routine DEEP cleaning, the bathrooms need to be changed, and a shower curtain or divider needs to be implemented showering was a complete and uncomfortable mess each time.

When I arrived, two staff members were sitting at the front desk on their phones. One reluctantly helped me, but his attitude and energy were completely off. I only booked one night because the hotel had very few photos online, and I wanted to see the condition for myself. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. Despite being an IHG hotel, the property did not meet expectations. The entire place had an unpleasant odor, which was especially concerning as I have asthma. The air quality was poor, and my room was even worse—humid, musty, and smelling of mildew and water damage. I paid extra for an “ocean view,” but what I got was a view of the pool and a dirty rooftop—not worth a photo, let alone the price. Even the bed linens had an odd smell, which made the room feel far from clean or comfortable. I planned to take my son to breakfast elsewhere since he didn’t like the hotel’s limited selection. When I asked the front desk for a late checkout, I was abruptly told no, because “they need the rooms to sell for ocean views.” That was the final straw. As a former Hilton Honors member and hotel manager myself, I know how critical good service and staff engagement are. This hotel has potential, but the staff clearly lacks proper training and professionalism. Scrolling on phones, not greeting guests, and showing no effort to create a welcoming environment will hurt this business in the long run.

We were woken up every night by people having parties way after 1am, people coming in after 3am very loud, screaming and music playing very loud in the room next to us for hours after midnight. The connecting room sounded like they were in our room. No soundproofing! Good location and clean.

Hotel is in a great location, close to the beach and boardwalk! The room was clean, accessible and great for a stay with kids. They have 24hr coffee and a great full breakfast!

The pool was not open.

Newer hotel. Good full breakfast. Coffee and tea service 24 hours. Beds were comfortable and bath was clean.

The first room we were placed in was fine but when we took a shower, the water wouldn’t drain so we reported to the front desk assistant and were placed in another room. Coming on this trip, we packed a lot of food to put in the fridge so we could heat up and eat and also save money on eating out. There was no microwave in the building. The only microwave available was in the breakfast place which is only open during breakfast. So we were stuck having to go to the 7/11 across the street to use a microwave. We eventually checked out earlier than planned. The staff were very helpful though

My mom, wife, my 3 and 5 year old kids and myself arrived at midnight on Friday and immediately noticed an old, partially eaten piece of food on the floor, dead bugs, no bedding for the pull-out sofa, and no shower curtain. Around 1:10 AM, someone tried to kick in our door, startling us all awake. We felt unsafe, and my kids were terrified all night. I slept with my concealed carry weapon next to me. Throughout the night, there were constant yelling at our door and altercations in the parking lot right outside our window, making me check on my vehicle regularly. I went to desk at 6:30am, 9am, 10am, 11:45am, and 4pm, filled them in on the incidents and problems and made it clear we wanted a refund for the night and a different room for the next night or else we would check out and go elsewhere. Each time they were unhelpful and said the manager has to authorize it but he was not there and to check back in as the manager will be in later. After all the stops by the desk wasting my entire morning and part of the afternoon the manager never came in and they weren’t able to get me in another room so we checked out immediately. They informed me i would have to contact hotels.com to get refund, which i did but hotels.com were unable to authorize a refund without the hotels managers approval, they tried to contact them 5 times and they couldn’t reach the manager either. Truly felt extremely uncomfortable and unsafe the whole time. Worst hotel experience yet.

Property abd stay was good overall except i didnt have a microwave and at the end of my stay i realised my girls' cover was soiled with bloodlike substance

The property was centrally located, room wasn't bad, bed was a Little uncomfortable. The rooms was quite and they cleaned the room promptly.

The location is great, right across from the beach. The room was large, very clean, and well appointed. Check in was a breeze, as was checking out. I opted to forego the free breakfast in favor of a Swedish pancakes at the nearby waffle restaurant,

Exceeded my expectations from front desk to breakfast in the morning. Very clean and friendly staff. Will definitely book here again

The man at the front desk told me I could not check in because I was under 21, even thought I was the one that booked the hotel. That was very angering. The halls of the hotel had a strong smell. There was also no hot water from the faucet.

Upon check-in we should have rec'd a cookie - NEVER got it. Our room description was "ocean view" - there was NO view. We had a view of the 3 huge A/C units and a huge advertisement sign facing Atlantic Avenue. THIS HOTEL IS NOT ON THE BEACH. IT IS ACROSS THE STREET, other hotels blocking all views of the ocean. I interacted with 3 hotel staff members at the front desk and they were just not friendly. At checkout, I told them about my stay AND that we found housekeeping in our room BEFORE we checked out and before check=-out time, an hour prior. It was just one more thing to add to the disappointment of this hotel stay.

The hotel was nice but room service is not good I stayed for 4 days and they kept skipping my room and I had to sleep in same sheets.

Property was in the midst of a full remodel and looked very nice. Room was clean and easy to access with plenty of parking. Mini-mart directly across street.

Friendly staff, extremely clean and spacious room. Convenient to the boardwalk. Would definitely stay here again!
