We checjed in after a long travel day looking to shower. The tub/shower combo did not drain and in fact still had tub scum from the previous guest. Called the front desk and was told would have someone out to fix in the morning. Well no service person ever showed up. On to the next issue, we booked this hotel for the location to a music festival and had been told by the front desk they offered shuttle service, great right, well two men in a pickup truck showed up and then left us stranded at the venue wanting $100 to come get us. Multiple people at this venue had been stranded. Needless to say we drove ourselves to the venue the second day. After spending two days in this lovely town we found much better accommodations for our trip here next year.

You get what you pay! Great price, but not a great place. Things are run down and need a lot of TLC, and upgrades. Definitely need new linens and towels. The ones being placed in rooms are dingy and some stained. Bedliners had rips in them

The pool was under repairs which was not advertised. Dated and run down. Very cool layout. It was what we expected for the money and situation. I’d stay there again if needed.

Older facility but still nice especially the updated tub. I especially enjoyed the cat at the property. He was adorable and made it feel more like home.

Every employee I interacted with was very polite and kind.

Staff was incredible. Very friendly and accommodating.

Soon as I walked in room smelled of mold/musk, understandable for old hotel, but when walked into the bathroom their was a dirty wash cloth in the tub, 2 dirty used towels in the floor, used container of soap in the tub, not to mention the used soap bar ontop the shower ledge, their was half bag of pizza rolls and 2 pot pies in the freezer, a pop/fountain drink in the fridge! So bathroom wasn’t cleaned and the fridge, night stand had a broken drawer they just sealed closed, pool still being worked on. Called front desk for fresh towels since the other ones were still on the ground dirty (they weren’t even restocked) girl brought cleaner with her to have MYSELF clean the tub, the wash cloths she gave us to use were stained with gosh knows what, their was trash still in the trash cans too, piece of the fridge shelf on the floor, never had this kind of issue.

This is the second week in a row I’ve stayed here and the front desk staff is always very nice and accommodating. I never feel rushed and they will work with you on your request.

Bugs in room/on bed. Sheets dirty, had to get clean sheets from front desk. We reserved 8 rooms. I realize this is an older chain but age & decor has NOTHING to do with cleanliness. We are well aware of what a "Dump" is as that is part of our business. This property should be an embarassment to Expedia and is an absolute stain on the reputation of the fine city of Ashland KY. Lumpy bed .. bathroom smelled of urine .. door was very hard to open .. had to use 2 hands and a lot of muscle to open it .. then there was a big opening at the bottom of the door .. but overall it was ok for the price ..

Front desk staff was nice. Best part was refund.

Staff was very friendly. The motel itself is fairly recently updated, but it is still old. If you dont mind staying in a quaint vintage late 70s roadside hotel, it fits the bill. I enjoyed it. It was like going back in time!

Close to everything, convenient

People was very nice but... Dirty sheets Toe nail clipping in the floor Spider webs everywhere Dead Roaches in window seal Ready for this ??????? The light fixture fell from the ceiling and busted Thank God no one was hurt !!
