I loved that this property was approx a 3 min walk to The Sphere. It also had a full kitchen with a coffee maker which seems to be rare these days in Vegas.
What I didn’t like: I booked through Expedia and thought the Room was paid for, however we arrived to find out there’s an extra $170 Resort Fee we had to pay, plus another $200 as a security deposit. Walk in and almost $400 is gone.
After you check in, they won’t give you your room keys until you go their their vacation club desk. Here they put on the hard sale, trying over and over to get you to join their Vacation Club. We kept saying no, and we were both extremely tired from traveling and just wanted to get to our room and lay down, but the guy at the Vacation Club desk was having none of it. We kept telling him we weren’t interested, but it didn’t seem to matter. We FINALLY got our keys and headed to our room. The next morning a marketing person calls us and it’s the same song and dance all over again. My husband kept saying we weren’t interested, but they don’t care. To say they are beyond persistent is an understatement.
The restaurant on the property is just “Ok,” and is sorely understaffed. We had to get there by 4:30 to get a table for dinner and then you wait for everything, from getting your order taken to getting your check. We had to plan ahead for this. The first night our waiter was also the cook, so he was in back making the orders and then trying to get out to take orders. We won’t ever stay again.
