The place was overall great. There were minor things but they didn’t deter from the experience (light in the toilet area didn’t work, room was warm during sunset due to full on sun coming in the room (we just closed the curtains but it still rose the temp in the room), the snacks were fine (just chips a hoy cookies, peanuts and chips. However we did get a full bottle of wine when we checked in. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful. The food was probably the most hit or miss thing. The buffet was excellent with loads of options. The desserts were definitely “Mexican style” so prepare to not have overly sweet treats. I liked them but my daughter found them to taste weird. The restaurants that you had to make reservations for are not good imo. We didn’t go to the steak place which required an extra payment, fyi. Just go to the buffet and you’ll be fine.

Everything was 10/10 except poor lighting in the room

So let’s begin with the check in process, longest wait ever! Only had two people checking in families. We have twins and had a long day filled with flights to get there and the last thing we wanted to do was wait over 20 minutes to check in. I originally did the check in online to avoid wasting time, yet still had to do a whole check in there at the hotel. They took forever to get our luggage and get us going to our room. For it being a family friendly hotel they keep us so far away from the lobby/restaurants and the elevators are too small. The whole place is extremely hot so take a handheld fan or two. The elevator for the family rooms broke down so we had to carry two babies with strollers up and down the stairs, which is ridiculous. The room service takes well over an hour, one time they didn’t even bother showing up with what we asked for. Room is also very hot, the AC did not cool even though all lights were off and windows closed. The food by the pool took forever to come, no one at walk up bar outside. Pros: clean your hotel room twice a day Buffet was decent Restaurants we tried: blue agave - good food/anabel wonderful service Capella - delicious food shoutout to Lucio the chef and Jorge our waiter Kao - food was also amazing but wait time sucks even though we had our reservation. Shows/activities were cute for babies Unlimited coffee/ice cream Cons: mini bar sadly stocked up snacks also not good Way too hot Room service Access to elevators Pools close to early

Family friendly

Our stay was incredible. I have never been to such wonderful hotel. The staff was superhelpful, everything was just wonderful. I can't think of one thing that I would dislike.. Such beautiful place

Absolutely a nightmare my whole family got sick the second day we got there. We spent our vacation at pharmacies and the hotel clinic that’s a money grab. We asked for a baby crib and it took 4 different people 5 hours to get my room.they have vendors that come to the hotel and sell souvenirs and pictures that clearly lie to you watch out when you pay in pesos they over charge and take advantage of you I bought the guy lying to me and told staff about it. DO NOT EAT ANYTHING AT THE BUFFET ESPECIALLY DAIRY. Just when I thought this nightmare was over I was checking out and payed for some room service and met my driver down stairs unnoticed staff holding my family hostage because they thought we didn’t pay the service fees like literally wouldn’t let them put the door anyways the property is beautiful everything else sucks they wanted to give me two nights feee at the property but I declined it I just wanted to leave that nightmare and make it to the USA to take my kid and wife to the doctor. Shame on you guys.

Paradisus Cancún was absolutely amazing, from the moment you walk in. We stayed in one of the family concierge rooms with Galdino as our concierge and he was very wonderful from start to finish. He made this trip hassle and stress free. He checked on us throughout our stay and made sure we didn’t want for anything. We traveled with our 5 year old daughter who loved the Kidsdom play area and also the staff. Maylin and the other team members were wonderful with the kids. They had activities all day. So you could leave your kids with them for the day. There is an arcade which is an additional charge. The family pool area was really fun for the kids. Just know that chairs will be saved early especially the ones with the tiki umbrella. Restaurant wise which is the most important, we really enjoyed the seafood restaurant Agua Marina, Kao was Asian themed which was also pretty good. We ate at Vibra for breakfast which was exclusive to the family concierge rooms. Blue agave is Mexican themed and it was just ok which is unfortunate seeing as though we were in Mexico. And on our last night we ate at the Italian restaurant Cappella with our server Odon who was great and really fast with the service. And at the end of the dinner they brought out a surprise dessert from Expedia I’m guessing because that is who the trip was booked through which was pretty cool. All in all I would recommend this place to stay for any family.

Todo muy bien, muy buena atención

We had a wonderful stay at Paradisus Hotel. The food was delicious with plenty of variety, and the staff was always friendly, welcoming, and eager to help. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained throughout our stay. What really stood out was how family-friendly the resort is, with activities and amenities that made it a great place to travel with kids. The ambience and aesthetic was a breath of fresh air. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend Paradisus to families looking for a relaxing vacation.

Food ok but was usually a bit under cook for my liking even when ask to cook well. Very clean resort, friendy staff room didnt have a hot tub.

Amzing hotel, very clean with extremely friendly staff and excellent service. If you have ocean facing room view from the balcony is amazing. Only think I didn't really like is extremely urban atmosphere around. You have feelings you are in Florida surrounsed by buildings, not in Mexico, where you would expect the palm trees around.

The Paradisus Cancún was a wonderful stay for me, my husband and our two teenage children. They are renovating it for a grand reopening in October of 2026 but we barely even noticed - we were not at all impacted. Service was great, and everyone was so helpful and friendly. Some of the staff learned our names (and of course we learned theirs!) and gave us some insider info on things to do outside the resort. Each time we returned from an excursion to the hotel, it really felt like coming "home."

Absolutely wonderful all around! Great remodeling and absolutely the best service anywhere! Highly recommend!

There were no premium drinks available, and none of the bars even served cold beer. This was very disappointing and far below what we expected from this hotel. Spa service 5 star, Very clean Resort.

Such a great experience! Daily entertainment both for families and Adults. A lot of food options and great service. I would recommend this hotel to family and friends.

I think it should be more information on the arrival regarding how things work for the amenities and in general. Also the check in was awful after a long trip with delayed flight, we was literally forced to do everything on internet using my phone with a very slow wifi. Other than that everything was great.

Clean room, helpful staff and good collection of food and beverages and also lots of family activities, definitely recommend
