The staff were terrific but clearly short staffed and overworked. Not their fault—and the staff on the front desk were marvellous if you could get their attention, but it was apparent that they are short staffed.
Let me begin by saying we live kids—we’ve had four and they have kids now. But this place was 24 hours of kids out of control—from the bedroom hallways to the bar and lobby…yelling, running—one twelve year old slapped the heck out if her father at the bar. Distracting, disruptive, rude—and their families did not care.
So, go outside, turn left and walk into the street pubs and shops. Nice but whopping expensive for what you get (even with the exchange).
The hotel as a physical structure us good—staff are great but understaffed and overworked. Hopefully you’ll be there on a night without tons if kids. And also: taxi and uber drivers were terrific!!
