The closet door was broken and unable to be used. The door knob inside the bathroom was almost broken off.

You can tell that they are going through a renovation right now. The lobby and gathering areas have been updated and are nice. The rooms need a lot of work. Beds were not comfortable and the headboard pleather was pealing. There was a rip in the sleeper sofa cushion that could flipped because it was ripped on the other side as well. A good amount of mold in the shower as well.

Friendly staff and clean environment

I only stayed one night, but I really enjoyed my stay. My room was clean and comfortable. The halls were quiet. We were next to an elevator, but there was no noise in my room. Everyone was very hospitable. I would definitely stay here again.

We are done staying at this property. It has been in a steady decline over the last few years. We always enjoyed this hotel but recently we have experienced a reduction in quality of room cleanliness and appearance. Headboards need replaced, couch cushions all frayed. Bathroom is not aesthetically appealing. Stairway is not clean.

I love the front staff girl. Very friendly

It was clean and high standard, very comfortable, spacious bedroom and bathroom, clean and hot shower, good size television, very cool air-conditioning and most of all they great customer service. The staff are very nice and friendly and respectful. Great breakfast with a lot of options! I will give them 10 stars not 5.

Very nice staff!

The staff work extremely hard and are so friendly. The front desk is so welcoming. The maintenance staff always are working. Although the staff appear over worked, they are all so very helpful. The couch cushions in the room were very stained. The bed linen was very old, bleach scented, and stained. I did dust the room once we noticed the thick dust on the lamps, top of the photo frames, and the top of the mirrors. The headboards of the beds were scratched with the decor falling off. The building is old and in need of an upgrade. We loved staying at this hotel for the past five years, but this last year will most likely be our last. Which saddens as the location is perfect for our Michigan visits.

The Hotel needs to freshen up a bit with a few minor, but needed repairs.

Calm

Our reservation for a 1 king size room with jacuzzi tub got mixed up with a 2 queen standard room so we didn’t get the room we paid for, we weren’t told of this mistake until I went and asked about it on our way out. We couldn’t be reimbursed, and points were useless as we don’t have Hilton honors. The other party had only stayed one night so we were locked out for a while initially. It was rather clean other than a pile of dog poo on the floor. Overall, a lot could have been understood/over looked but honestly and integrity go a long way and this hotel had none. Hope the other party enjoyed our expensive room! Will not book again.

I did not stay at hotel because our power came on. We were without power for 3 days and I tried to cancel this and you would not cancel. I will never work with Expedia again!

The whole property needs a little TLC. My room‘s floor was stained. My room‘s couch was stained, and my headboards on both of my queen beds were tore up.
