Accommodating staff, great property in quiet, safe location

They do not have frigobar, poor communication with the reception desk

The service provided by the staff was superb, particularly, Italo, who was at the front desk. Dining menu can be better though.

I love the place, very convenient location closer to great bars and restaurants. Also, the food at the restaurant is great. The only concern it is the gym very old machines and tools to workout.

Excellent service

We had a wonderful stay in the hotel .. everything was perfect. The suite, the comfort, the staff, the breakfast, room service, the lounge, the spa , the area, the tours we arranged using the hotel services,

We liked the excellent service from all the staff from our check-in experience at reception, to the servers in the restaurant each morning to the spa staff as well as the house keeping staff. Our room was refreshed and cleaned each day and we were grateful. We thoroughly enjoyed the roof top pool and deck area which was a great retreat from the busy city. We were entertained by a highly skilled pianist each evening in the bar area. What a delight that was for us. We will return on our next trip.

The Ritz Carlton Santiago presents significant operational deficiencies that undermine its potential as a high-standard hotel. Key Issues Identified: 1. Bathroom Maintenance and Safety Hazards: Persistent flooding in the bathroom, reported multiple times and acknowledged by the on-duty manager, remains unresolved. The situation led to a near-accident when I slipped due to the water accumulation and almost hit my head on the floor, posing a serious risk of traumatic brain injury. 2. Internet Connectivity: Internet speed is insufficient for basic work or streaming, compromising its suitability for business travelers. 3. Entertainment Technology: The rooms do not feature Smart TVs, and guests are provided with a cable to connect their personal devices. However, the poor internet quality renders streaming platforms unusable. 4. Service Quality: Despite staying in the exclusive Club Lounge, the service lacks the personalization and attention expected at this level. Positive Note: The breakfast service is a highlight, with well-trained and attentive staff ensuring an excellent dining experience. Conclusion: The hotel requires immediate improvements in maintenance, infrastructure, and service management to meet the standards expected by discerning travelers. In its current state, it fails to adequately serve its target market.

Property is a bit dated, but fine otherwise

The hotel’s AC isn’t working properly, and most of the guests are American, but the TV only has one American channel. The reception staff isn’t very friendly, but the restaurants and the service there are excellent. The food was fantastic overall.

The best Ritz Carlton I’ve ever stayed in. Service and attitude of staff was exceptional. Great restaurant on first floor. The Club Level had great food and beverage selections and an awesome breakfast in the morning. Recommend this hotel highly as it exceeded all expectations
