When I booked wasn't showing that its outdoor pool plus it is not mentioned there ia no breakfast on weekends,room was clean ,the reception's guy was.nice.

The previous night we stayed at a Best Western Plus and it was far superior to this one. Person at check in was very good. Room was clean, small and looking tired

Area didn’t seem great. Hotel was what you pay for.

Although hotel says pet friendly, be sure to call before because some rooms aren’t pet friendly. We wanted the King suite with a pet and when we arrived, they said we had to pick another room. Also, after hours front desk, staff are not very accommodating. Ask for Julie the daytime manager. She is great.

Queen bed extremely soft. Noisy hallways through the night

Room and bed was small. Room was cold. No microwave. It just had the bare minimum. Location was perfect.

Had a great room. Staff was friendly, room was clean and comfortable bed. My new do to when we're visiting sarnia for the future

I have stayed at the Guildwood Inn on several occasions when my work brings me to Sarnia. It is ideally located next to the water for walks during the warmer months, and close to restaurants and bars if one does not wish to use the hotel's facilities. The rooms are always clean and despite being close to the international bridge, very quiet. Highly recommend it

Should have asked for an upgrade. This standard room was disappointing in that it was very small and very dimly lit, especially in the bathroom … a “tired” room in need of an update

Breakfast was excellent, but radio was way too loud in a breakfast area. 2nd day, we asked that it be turned down, and it was slightly.

Julie , I believe she was guest services manager, was super accommodating and helpful. She worked with us with unusual timing needs, pets etc, over two stays. The rooms were super clean. Staff was amazing. The restaurant attached to the hotel had an included hot breakfast during the week, which was nice, but the information on the website and in writing is wrong. It says there is lunch service and express lunch available. There is no lunch service at all and no breakfast on the weekends . So plan to go somewhere else for those times. Theres no snack machines. Theres a tim hortons fairly close . by. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable and accommodating and i would definitely stay again.

Carpet in room had stale odour. Rooms dated could use some freshening up.

Loved the outdoor seating area. A little table would be a great addition to the chairs. GREAT BED!! Fresh fruit in AM on weekends and an amazing breakie that is served to you. When in the Sarnia area this is the place to stay for value and a great room. Discounts if member of BW points or CAA.
