The property is beautiful and very romantic feel! The area around the hotel is a small village/town full of shops, cafes and walkable distance. Beautiful town and gorgeous hotel.

My stay at Parkhotel Engelsburg, BW Premier Collection, in Recklinghausen was thoroughly enjoyable. Although the hotel is listed as being close to Gelsenkirchen, it's actually about a 20-minute drive out. Despite this, Recklinghausen itself has much to offer and is wonderfully walkable, with plenty to explore and enjoy. The hotel itself exudes elegance and charm. Our room was impressively spacious, featuring a firm king bed and a bathroom that was spotless and well-maintained. The cleanliness and comfort of the rooms made our stay very pleasant. The staff at Parkhotel Engelsburg were incredibly helpful and attentive, always ready to assist with any needs we had. While there was a bit of noise one evening from patrons returning late, this was likely due to the influx of guests attending the EURO 2024 Football Tournament, and not a regular occurrence. The hotel’s restaurant provided a delightful dining experience, though room service options were somewhat limited. However, this did not detract from the overall quality of our stay. The elegance of Parkhotel Engelsburg is matched by its pricing, offering a luxurious experience that feels worth the cost. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. The combination of spacious rooms, excellent service, and the charming surroundings of Recklinghausen made for a memorable stay.

Gediegenes Hotel im konservativen klassischen Stil. Alles funktioniert, ist sauber und von hoher Qualität. Frühstück von guter Qualität. Auf die WDR-Beschallung hätte ich gerne verzichtet, ist aber möglicherweise Pflicht in NRW.

Sehr schönes Hotel mit fantastischem Personal. Ich habe selten so freundliches Personal (Rezeption, Restaurant) erlebt wie in diesem Hotel. Besonders gut gefallen hat uns das Ambiente, da es altehrwürdig aber nicht altmodisch ist. Ein super schöner Kontrast zu den ganzen neumodischen Hotels.
