An amazing hotel out of the craziness of the city Centre. Room was lovely & spacious. The breakfast was fresh & plentiful!

Excellent service from all of the staff. Great light lunch in the Bar, and breakfast the following morning (very nice porridge). This is possibly not the ideal location for a visit to Glasgow City Centre, but there are very cheap rail links into Glasgow Central and local private hire taxis that are also very reasonable. Our usual hotel of choice in the city had not surprisingly more that doubled in price due to a concert at Hampden Park (£340)..we booked the Golden Jubilee for £109 including breakfast and a return taxi for £40! Absolute no brainer!!

We had stay over at the Golden Jubilee hotel as I was attending the hospital there. Warm welcome from reception even though she was very busy. The facilities are good though we didn’t use the pool. It was nice to relax in the bar area and have some reasonably priced light bites. All served with polite and friendly staff. Room was excellent plenty of space but it was an adjoining room and the people next door had very loud voices that went on till midnight. All in all it was a very good experience. Breakfast was plenty a help yourself though on the dot of 9.30 it’s cleared away !!

Brilliant experience from check in until departure. Staff very welcoming and nothing was an issue. I will certainly stay again!

My room was fabulous; clean and very smart. The A/C was working thank goodness so I had a very comfortable sleep. The shower was powerful and had this handy shelf for putting stuff on which was welcomed. Dinner was delicious, the featherblade of beef in the steak pie was melt in the mouth. Breakfast was a very well put out buffet, the scrambled egg was good, which is not easy to get right when doing a buffet (I've been a breakfast cook in a hotel). Altogether a great stay.

Good service for the price

Nice clean room, good breakfast but was badly let down when the hotel placed a hold on my card and then again 2 hours later for full payment. 5 days have passed and still the pending payment is on my card!!

Well situated for public transport- rail station approximately 10 minutes walk from.hotel and 20 minutes journey into city centre. Beautiful gardens. Great breakfast and lovely staff. Ideal base for both city breaks and further afield (Lomond and the Trossachs)

Good location if you have to catch a flight from Glasgow. Room was spacious, bed reasonably comfy, great shower.

I had many thoughts about a hospital hotel. How far from the hospital and would it really be as nice as it looks. Well it was better than expected and the bonus was how it was part of the hospital, we had come by bus / train and so easy to find. Just ask people if you get stuck, bus driver was great. Food, we ate from the dinning room, very reasonably priced and good quality food. We enjoyed the pool too. I would say, a sign at the hospital entrance would be good. As we did get anxious about that. But, you just enter the building and read the signs or ask at the desk. Lovely people. Thankyou for a very nice time. We are coming back again when its the next operation.

Quirky choice stayig at a hospital.

Staff very attentive and jovial,nothing too much trouble.Bar had no real ale,if like me you prefer that and menu could be more extensive.We only had room only so cannot say too much about food.Will certainly stop there again as we have family locally.

Very friendly front desk. Checked me in as soon as a room was ready and was willing to also let me leave my bags next to desk. Rooms as described. Great shower. Great gym and pool attached and included. Steam and sauna. Pool kept warm. Lots of parking. Attached to the hospital but easy to get to and quiet grounds. Would stay again.

This place was fine. Location relatively close to the airport, but not close to much else. Few restaurants or stores in the area. The in-house restaurant was quite satisfying.

Room was lovely and had an amazing view over the River Clyde. Loved the beer garden. Breakfast was outstanding.
