Very old building but well modernised. Beautiful setting high up with lovely views. Staff helpful and efficient. Bar rather expensive.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Enjoyed two great dinners, with all food hot and tasty. Good breakfast buffet too. Wish there was shuttle service back and forth to town, we would have even paid a fee. You can walk to town, but some guests may struggle. We did get free shuttle to train station on departure, which was much appreciated.

It was just what we where looking for

Hübsches ehrwürdiges Haus, BJ 1850, freundliches Personal, Badezimmer renoviert, leider nur Ausblick auf einen Teil des Hinterhofes. Schöne, antike Lobby mit Feuerstellen und Sitzgelegenheiten. Alles in allem: Gut!

Excellent service, clean and comfortable, the pool was a good size and the spa was so good.

Lovely location and views. Staff excellent. Dinner was quite bad and did not get a good sleep due to multiple room issues.

The hotel public areas were very nice and comfortable. The staff in stags head bar were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. Bedroom looked a bit tired. Staff at breakfast could have been more welcoming

Great location and lovely hotel. The sheets and duvet cover were a bit faded but a very comfortable bed.

Was put in a room that had a wedding party directly underneath it was really loud, approached the reception and the lady on duty had us moved to opposite end of hotel. Shame ruined our special visit, the staff were fantastic and friendly

The Property was very well cared for. I loved the decor and all the flowers on the grounds. You have a very nice staff. Please don’t publish my name, email, etc.

We come here twice a year and are never dissapointed. All staff are friendly and helpfull if needed. Log fires burning when the weather requires them. I spoke with an american who was amazed at the friendliness of the staff and the level of comfort the hotel provides. Looking forward to our return visirt.

What a setting - absolutely stunning! Gardens are fantastic, hotel is very clean and tidy everywhere. Spa is excellent and breakfast was very good too. Staff all very helpful. Great 2 night stay

Stunning property in convenient location. Close enough to walk to town. Wish we had more time to take advantage of the delights this beautiful hotel offered!

Despite only being available for the first night of a weekend break, the lure of staying at the Atholl Palace Hotel couldn't be resisted. We arrived long before we could check in at 3.30pm, so time was spent using the luxury spa facilites and in the bar. We also had a good wander through the wee museum, which was fascinating! The staff were very friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. The room was spacious and wonderfully decorated, and the bed extremely comfortable. The buffet breakfast was delicious, with so much choice available. Definitely one for a revisit in the future, for more than one though next time!

This is a very special hotel with the warmest staff on the planet. stunning surrounds, cozy log fires, beautiful dining room overlooking the gardens, charming rooms and old school service.

Staff were delightful, breakfast was excellent and the hotel and grounds are beautifully maintained. Very comfy room too.
