If you are looking for a quiet hotel this is the place. It has charm but a little dated. The restaurant and pool is wonderful. Nice amenities when you arrive.

This property was absolutely stunning. When we arrived we were so frustrated from the drive but the staff gave us a welcome refresher drink and accompanied us to our room. We ate dinner and breakfast and both meals were hot, very tasty and simply delicious. I wish we would have stay 6 days at this luxury hotel.

Great place to relaxing

The staff and the property are wonderful. Everyone is friendly and helpful, and the hotel is beautiful. The bar/restaurant is old-school cool, and the room is clean, quiet and authentic. We have loved our stay and would highly recommend

If I could review them with zero stars I would. The customer service is the worst we have encountered in our multiple trips to Costa Rica. Spare yourself the trouble and spend your money at a good place that values the essence of the Pura Vida lifestyle because this place definitely leaves much to be desired.

This place was a gem. There were minor things in need of touch ups due to the age of the hotel which is understandable but it honestly just added to the beauty. It was private and quiet and we felt like we were in a palace. The rooms were beautiful, the hotel had so much charm and the little added touches they included for us were such a treat. Possibly my favorite hotel we stayed at.

I frequently stop in San Jose on my way to Guanacaste. I always stay at Alta Las Palomas! Great views, delicious breakfast and dinner. Staff is always smiling and happy to help. Next time I hope to try the outdoor pool :D

We enjoyed everything about our stay. It was a very unique space that looks like a small castle. The room was spacious, the beds comfortable. We spent a fair amount of time enjoying the magnificent views from the balcony. The pool area was cool. Location was great, not far from Escazu. Highly recommend.

We found this beautiful property and it was above and beyond our expectations. It was absolutely stunning. From the charming unique rooms, the stunning views, colorful plants/flowers, amazing dining food/drinks. Rooms were quiet, clean and very comfortable. We were on the 1st floor so we didn't get a view of the sunset but we were just as happy to be able to walk out of our patio and visit the pool/sitting area and go to breakfast and dinner at the restaurant onsite. We will definitely be back!
