I liked that everything on the property looked fairly new, everything was clean. I didnt like our experience with the male pool bartender. He was rude and unfriendly. He didnt let my pregnant friend and i have our hydroflask with water out with us. Meanwhile there were other guests with their own water bottles outside. We asked other onsite staff if we were allowed to have our own water bottles out by the pool and they all said yes. So im not sure why this one specific bartender told us otherwise. Its 90 degrees outside and he's saying we cant have our own water bottles? Thats ridiculous. This one experience makes me not want to come back.

The staff at the Royal Sun is amazing. they were friendly and helpful and accomodating. They really made our stay enjoyable.

Beautiful hotel! The heated pool was lovely for enjoying the mountain view during a swim. Bed & furniture in the suite room was very comfortable. We enjoyed breakfast and drinks at the hotel restaurant, High Moon. Staff were very friendly and helpful during our stay. I'd love to return someday.

Absolutely loved our stay here. Really cute and trendy styled rooms and property. Very clean. Great on-site restaurant. Reasonably priced, considering alternatives in the area. Walkable with nearby neighborhoods. Would recommend this property 1 million times.

Great accommodation, interiors are lovely. Pool and outdoor atmosphere is great. Recommend the pizzas and cocktails by the pool.

I was in Palm Springs for work and had the best stay at Royal Sun. From the moment I walked in I felt at home! I was greeted with the warmest welcome from the hotel manager, William, and continued to be amazed by the kind staff and wonderful service throughout my stay. The restaurant is great and the server (Robert), chef (Conrad) and bartender (Andrew) are all lovely. I will certainly be back!

The room was fine but no place to put luggage and very little room to hang clothes. Maid service was very minimal. They never made the bed, gave us new towels. You would have never known they were there. Just thought it was overpriced for what you get.

We really enjoyed our stay. Our main reservation was the continuous music played loudly around the swimming pool which prevented us from totally relaxing and indeed we went elsewhere to have our meals.

This hotel is not a four stars hotel, it was loud all night with people coming and going and talking extremely loud. The room was barely clean, very small and decor was poor. The rooms aren’t attractive and comfortable. It is extremely overpriced in my opinion and we won’t go back. Such a disappointment. First time I have been that disappointed when booking on Expedia

The rooms have been remodeled but the vanity lighting was terrible for getting ready for a night out in Palm Springs. The shower water pressure was terrible. They didn’t have a phone in the room to be able to call the front desk. It was really late so I wasn’t going to walk to the front desk to tell them. Overall it was ok parking was easy and the pool seemed nice but too cold this time a year to enjoy:
