Great property with excellent location.

Very comfortable room and bathroom. Flawless common spaces. No water fountain for refilling bottles and a tiny free water carton in the room. A further tiny bottle of water is available in the minibar for €3.50 but there is no convenience store close by. Coffee is from a machine only. Would I stay again? Definitely

We have upgraded to the Level each time we have stayed at the Melia. While the facility was very nice the amenities were lacking. Very little food options other than salty snacks. All of the other Melia’s Level have offered much more from a food perspective. While the room upgrade was very nice the overall experience was lacking due to the Level amenities.

Room, lobby and restaurants are very clean and beautifully designed. Customer service is also very good and helpful and the restaurants are very good. However, the hotel suffers from maintenance issues. The front door slider was off its track and held open the 3 days we were there. The elevator had some sort of operator glitch so that it wouldn’t stop on sequential floors when it was called. It wasn’t too bad but occasionally we would need to wait a few extra minutes for the elevator to stop on our floor even though it passed us several times. It is glass elevator so we can see it operating (very cool) and there was a sign noting the issue. And, breakers in our room flipped twice shutting off outlets and air conditioning. Finally, the women’s room sauna and showers are in rough shape with exposed metal screws (very hot!) and moldy caulking. If the hotel could solve these issues, I would rate it highly.

Beautiful hotel, quiet and comfortable. Friendly staff, lovely pool on the 6th floor and a few minutes walk to the Guggenheim 🐶

Walking distance of the Guggenheim and the centre with bars and restaurants. Well recomendable and will return if I need to go back to Bilbao.

Great location. Well connected by the Metro or the tram system that takes you to the old town every ten minutes. Lovely staff.
