The added fees and lack of service made my stay unacceptable.

Property grounds were in some disrepair, e.g., missing downspouts so rain poured down from the 3 story roof onto landscape beds that consisted of mud and no grass or plants. There was a $12 per day parking fee in an untended outdoor lot which we didn’t know about beforehand.

Rooms were okay- there was a lot of “extra” charges that were not noted when we booked this property. They charged for parking per car, we were aware that the breakfast had a charge, but drinks were an extra additional charge (a black small coffee was an 4$ on top of the 12$ for basic continental breakfast set up- nothing special whatsoever). They even charged for the soap and shampoo. I wouldn’t have booked that had I known in advance.

The room and property were clean. The staff and service were great. Paying to park in a normal parking lot, not so great. Breakfast buffet not great and definitely not worth the price.

Upon closer inspection, we discovered that the parking fee was hidden behind a secondary click, requiring users to delve deeper into the website's information. While the hotel itself was pleasant and the staff courteous, the lack of transparency regarding the parking fee left a sour taste. It felt like a hidden cost, and we believe such fees should be clearly and prominently displayed on the initial booking page or website. Pros: * Attractive and well-maintained hotel. * Friendly and efficient front desk staff. * Convenient location off I-40. Cons: * Hidden $12 parking fee, not clearly disclosed on the website. * Lack of upfront transparency regarding additional costs. Overall: The Courtyard by Marriott in Amarillo has the potential to be an excellent choice for travel

We were surprised that you had to pay for parking.

Room was not ready way after checkin slot, also the next day we went for breakfast and upon return room door wouldn’t open, we had to wait for a maintenance personnel to fully open & remove lock. I would have wanted a coupon or something as an apology. Other than that room was very clean and beds were comfy

This hotel was a great stopover on our way to Austin. The front desk staff was really nice!!

Great hotel in a nice spot, everything was good except hot tub was Luke warm and lots of chemicals. Pool was fine.

Not clean. Toilet was dirty inside and out. There was urine on the floor. We checked in late and since we have young children we decided to clean the bathroom ourselves and not have the hassle of changing rooms. When I wiped down the floor it didn’t appear to have been cleaned for a very long time. The tile is dark and on a white towel it left black dirt and grime. We had to ask for sheets for the pull out couch and had to go to the desk to get swim towels. They were given without a problem it was just a hassle to keep going back to the front desk. $12 for parking is ridiculous and not posted anywhere on hotels.com.

The place seemed cleaned but the room was not as crisp as other Courtyards I've visited. The bathroom was not well cared for either.

At checkin I was charged $12 for parking . This fee was not disclosed and was ridiculous. I have never needed to pay for parking at such a hotel. No garage, no valet, just standard issue parking lot. Shower was tiny. I have seen larger showers in an RV. Room coffee was not sufficently supplied and there was no curtesy coffee in the lobby. Had to pay $4 for a morning coffee. Will never stay here again.

Staff were great and easy to work with. Our room had trash on the floor but otherwise it was clean. We got in late and our room was 85 degrees when we got in. The tv also did not work. Remote would light up but it just would not turn on. Breakfast was nice.

It was an amazing stay - clean, safe and polite. Front desk made sure everything was to my liking and if I needed anything else for my stay.

Courtyard is on my DO NOT STAY list. For extra fees. Charged for overnight parking for absolutely no reason. Paid for breakfast for 2 but didn’t cover full cost of breakfast. Small resort fee? All the fees added a bunch to the total cost.

Beautiful property, friendly staff, and great food. An overall fantastic stay!

I’ve stay there 3 times in the last 2 months and I’ve enjoyed my stay each time.
