The Occidental was a good stay for a short time, it was close to the beach and surrounding restaurants. The rooms seemed nice at first, however bedsheets were torn, and just general wear and tear around the room. The hot water stopped working one evening and the suggestion was to go down to the gym area to shower which wasn't ideal unfortunately, they said it happens sometimes however in our 4 night stay we only noticed it once. Other than that it was a decent short stay, close to metro, bus stops and restaurants!

Everything was great just needed better AC and smart tv for Netflix or any app of the that nature.

The bed was extremely comfortable. I enjoyed the shower and bidet!

Check in tog lang tid. De vil tvinge folk til at checke in digitalt på forhånd, hvilket er fint hvis det er nemt. Men den samlede tid er lang. Wifi kan ikke bruges professionelt på PC - forbindelsen er ikke sikker. De genopfyldte ikke kaffe etc. så et besøg på flere dage med arbejde på værelset var ikke godt.

This hotel a great find. It was extremely clean and modern, the staff were all lovely and I couldn't have had a better stay. The hotel itself is really convenient to the beach and the Mar Bella sports centre (the reason for my trip) as well as the Diagonal Mar shopping mall. Breakfast was really nice with a lot of options and overall I was very happy with my stay.

Room was very clean and the view was magnificent. Plenty of restaurant options around, though it is a couple of miles from the busier beaches around Barceloneta. The beach nearby was much quieter, which was a plus for us. We also didn’t mind walking or catching one of the cabs that were conveniently parked next to the hotel whenever we were ready to go somewhere.

Customer focused service at its very best. I stay in approx 50 hotels a year with my work, but here i was with my wife for a long weekend. There was just something special about the attentiveness of the staff to ensure our stay was memorable and perfect. The breakfast, room comfort, cleanliness, location and just about everthing was faultless. Only wished we had stayed longer, and would definitely recommend and will return soon

Excellent location and very close to the beach. Hop on/off bus stop at corner of hotel. Staff is great, pool and gym/saunas are excellent. Breakfast buffet is worth the money.

1. Shower not functioning: Despite raising the issue with staff, the shower remained unusable throughout my stay. 2. Room change offered too late: A room change was only offered after three days, by which time I had already fully unpacked my belongings. 3. Mold in the air conditioning unit: This is a serious hygiene and health concern and should be addressed immediately. 4. Excessive noise at the pool: For four consecutive days, loud music was played via Bluetooth speakers at the pool. In addition, guests opened champagne bottles in a dangerous manner — corks were shot onto the street and champagne was sprayed into the pool — without any intervention from staff. 5. Missing personal item: A bikini top went missing from my bathroom and was never recovered. 6. Unpleasant odor in the hallway: The hotel corridor frequently smelled strongly of cannabis.

Great location, the beach is a few min walk, great pool with the bar, breakfast was good, they make omelets. Staff was very helpful with everything. Pleasant stay.

Staff are really helpful and jolly. Without any prompting presented my wife with a cake on her Birthday, which was a nice touch

Zimmer war okay

Wir waren eine Woche in Barcelona und wollten Strand und Sightseeing kombinieren. Dieses Hotel war perfekt dafür. Gute Anbindung an die Metro/Bus und das Meer mit sehr guten Beachbars unmittelbar gegenüber.

I had a very pleasant experience during my stay. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming in all areas of the hotel, including reception, housekeeping, the bar, and the restaurant. The service was consistently attentive and professional. The breakfast was simple but of good quality, providing everything necessary for a satisfying start to the day.

Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Zimmer war schön und sauber. Das Licht im Zimmer war zu dunkel und der Pool war kalt und nicht so sauber.
