As a frequent traveler, I expected much more from a Marriott-branded 4-star hotel. Marriott should be ashamed to have this property associated with its name. The hotel advertises parking, but there is no true on-site parking—it is located across the street, which is misleading if you’re arriving with luggage or expecting the convenience normally associated with a 4-star property. There is also no proper restaurant for dinner, another surprising omission for a hotel in this category. The room was unbelievably small. There was only about 1–2 feet of space around the queen bed, making it feel more like a cramped hostel room than a 4-star hotel. The furnishings were sparse, and the entire room had a lingering odor of old cigarette smoke. The staff were understaffed and not responsive when assistance was needed. Breakfast was well below average. The selection was limited, the quality was mediocre. Overall, this property falls far short of Marriott standards in comfort, amenities, and service. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend it to anyone expecting the quality normally associated with the Marriott brand.

Buena habitación, buena ubicación y buen servicio.

Ein enges Zimmer - im Gang kam man schlecht zu zweit zurecht. Große Ablage am Fensterbrett. Zimmer zur belebten Straße. Fenster einigermaßen schalldicht. Parkplätze zB einfach schräg gegenüber den Kreisel durchfahren und dann in der Parkbucht am Garten-Park Auto abstellen. Keine Parkuhr! Die Dame in der Bar hatte keine Cocktails, aber einen echten EIMER an Gin Tonic. Danke dafür - it was a pleasure - die Flasche NORDES musste wohl leergemacht werden. Das bleibt in Erinnerung! Frühstücksbuffet war eher mager bestückt. Ich ging jetzt nicht hungrig vom Tisch, aber lecker geht anders. Lage für´s Auto ganz okay. Für die Templerburg auch - 18 Minuten Laufzeit - man muss nicht näher und teurer in Ponferrada übernachten. Kaum gutes gastronomisches Angebot in der nächsten Umgebung (10 Laufminuten). Im Stadtkern mehr. Problem ist immer die Zeit von 16-20 Uhr - da haben die meisten KEINE warme Küche und ggf ganz geschlossen.

Limpio, sobrio, excelente desayuno. A 15 min del Castillo a pie. Estacionamiento fuera del hotel, seguro.
