The photos online were nothing like the actual hotel. Upon arrival, you walk directly into a bar area where the first employee we encountered was quite rude and unwelcoming. Interestingly, his attitude improved only after my credit card was successfully processed.
The room itself was very small and had no air conditioning. Fortunately, the weather was cool during our stay; otherwise, the room would have been unbearably hot.
The service continued to disappoint. When I asked another employee for some ice, he reached directly into the ice bucket with his bare hand and placed the ice into a cup. There is nothing less appetizing than watching someone put their hand into a communal ice supply. This same employee was also unfriendly until he realized we were hotel guests.
The bathroom was another issue altogether. There was visible mold, and when we informed the employee that the toilet was not working properly, he said he would "get to it when he had a minute," even though there were no customers in the bar at the time.
Overall, the combination of misleading photos, rude staff, poor cleanliness, and lack of attention to maintenance made for a very disappointing stay. Unless you're looking for unfriendly service and moldy bathrooms, you may want to reconsider booking this hotel.
