Great room, great staff, great breakfast!!

The restaurant is very good and afordable, they have special by the day from Monday to Sunday. The Cowboy pizza is very good !!!

Check in was smooth and the clerk was extremely friendly and welcoming. We were travelling all day and got in late so it made for a relaxing evening. I would stay at Woodlands again.

Very good restaurant and bar. The hotel is very nice.

Everything was good, except minimal amenities in the room. Worth the price, and it provided a great chance to rest while traveling. The area is safe for belongings, secure parking.

We stayed here heading north on Alaskan Highway and then again on the way south. The management was friendly, the laundry (washer / driers) are full size and reasonably priced ($3 Canadian). The front desk will make change.

This place was amazing for the price. Room was clean and the food was great.

For me, I'm lactose intolerance and they would not accommodate making eggs without cheese. Otherwise if you like the continental breakfast with some protein, eggs with cheese, no potatoes or hash, Browns but they have other breads Bagels, muffins and fruit. This place was not bad for a cleanliness and accommodations up to par. And did not look like it was run down. As far as the dining room the dinner food I had was Vegetables with chicken teriyaki, which was kind of bland and rice noodles, which were dry and had to ask for extra sauce to liven up the dish. My brother-in-law had breaded veal, and he stated it was good. Overall, this place a 8 out of 10

No elevator to the second floor, the stair well is narrow, and when you reach the top, you have to go down three steps to get to the second floor

The Woodlands is a solid brick hotel, the only one in Fort Nelson. Well maintained by friendly staff who are very knowledgeable about the area. Parking is easy, gym in basement is good. Breakfast offered is good too. Always a good choice when staying in the area.
