Hotel was clean & staff was friendly but your elevators were broken. My stay was accommodated & staff secured a room on the first floor however the room was next to hotel exit & we heard the door open & close every time a person opened or shut the door I didn’t sleep well. Additionally the side exit door did not lock automatically so anyone could come inside without a key pass.

Communication from the staff was very good, let us know elevator was out early in the morning before arrival in case we needed to change hotels. Check in was quick. Room was clean and had a good blackout shade. Emergency exit on the side of the hotel facing highway would not fully secure. Someone had used it instead of the actual exit. Air conditioner in room needs maintenance. The fan on high would not blow any harder than on low or auto. It cooled but took longer than it should. Was not uncomfortable eventually. I reported both issues to the front desk 6/1. Breakfast was good, the lady running it made some pancakes for my child, she was attentive to all that were there. She did a great job. Overall staff was very good, hotel just like most needs a little extra work which seemed the staff would report.

Elevator not working, at breakfast waffle maker not working if you wanted coffee the coffiee maker did not give enough hot water and worker had to heat it up in the microwave for you. At check in or in website there is no mention that the room would not be cleaned automatically. The website did not state any of this and the staff did not inform us. When I asked on the day of my return back after 1st stay staff pointed to a sign. We had a bill of $376 and not even the towels or trash was taken out of the room. You need that on your website perhaps a statement saying "Daily cleaning of room and repleshment of towels must be requested

Very friendly staff. Nice lobby. Air vent in rooms could definitely use a good deep clean and new filter. The breakfast buffet looked great but daytime snack options were limited.

Everything was great except for not having enough towels, and some of the ones we had were a little smelly, other than that a great stay and breakfast was really good!

Best property to stay at in Alice TX. Clean hotel, and the best staff.

Shampoo and conditioner pump bottles supplied in shower/tub. But disappointed there was no body gel wash. Just a small and thin soap bar.

Loved the breakfast and the room. Staff was nice and friendly. Only thing i didn't like was not being able to ask anyone how to turn on the shower because the phone would just go to a busy signal, so i had to keep having to call back. I ended up calling the main number on my cell just to get though. That shower though is tricky. I felt like i had to discover the secret book latch on a shelf to open a secret room, lol. Some instructions saying to pull on the actual spout would be helpful. Thank you!!

Accommodations were not as described on website, mold in our room A/C unit, only 2 towels in bathroom for 6 people, spa dirty, pool had cigarette butts in it, hard beds.

Nice location Easy check in/checkout process. Allowed us to check earlier than the check in time.

Friendly and helpful staff

Elevators apparently have not been working for 4 weeks, did not know this upon booking. I am traveling 7 months pregnant with a toddler/ stroller this was very difficult to get up and down. My elderly parents always had a run and had to go up and down stairs. There were multiple alive spiders larger than a quarter crawling throughout our room and property. This visit was very terrible.

We loved our stay at the Holiday Inn and would definitely stay at it again.

Outside the hotel was lacking in curb appeal, choice of 4-6 big ashtrays right outside the front door is gross for non smokers, landscaping could use some help. Dog yard s possibility?

when we arrived police officers arrived as well about a burglary complaint on a parked vehicle.Staff and upgrades they made were great but there was a roach crawling out from behind our headrest and for that some didnt sleep well.
