Shower would be dangerous for seniors. However, pressure and water temp was good.

The rooms were dirty, with grime on the baseboards, walls, and in the shower. There was a ring in the toilet like it hadn’t been cleaned in a bit. There was dirt and leaves all over the deck with many spider webs. Toilet paper was single ply. The furniture was old and beat up. We skipped the breakfast as we were not comfortable with the cleanliness of their kitchen based on the room.

We booked this room for a romantic getaway for my husband’s birthday. However, the property is not quite as described. It is really old and outdated. I think the last time they renovated the hotel was 50 years ago. Also, there was no one at the check-in and no breakfast available the day after. We did not see any inkeeper throughout the entire stay. Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed.

Very nice property it was a very good experience

When we arrived I could not find anyone in the lobby but then saw an envelope with my name on it. The lobby area and the back porch area where breakfast is served is very historic looking, but well maintained and cozily decorated. Ditto for our room once we let ourselves in. The grounds are very relazing.

The property could be beautiful but they need to spruce up parts of it.

This historic B&B provided a quiet retreat and was a welcome change from commercial hotel stays. The innkeeper was very thoughtful and hospitable, which helped to ensure a comfortable stay. I would return!

Interesting property- we only stayed just overnight but it was easy to get to, clean. Inn owner was pleasant and the prepared breakfast smelled wonderful (we did not eat as had early plans).

The property is in a nice setting but clearly needs tending too on the grounds & inside Not maintained well and shows it age. Never met the inn keepers . Which was odd. Self check jn.and out They had stale fig newtons at the entry to welcome guests. The bed in the room had very old and ugly bed spread with box spring exposed . Stains on carpet . Metal chairs on porch with no cushions. Shower had low water pressure and never got hot. The blinds were old and some broken . Rooms in our suite needed new carpet , bedding and paint. The breakfast was horrible. Lumpy batter for waffles . Scrambled eggs with bacon bits. A brown banana and some apples. Coffee was awful and they also had sanka The house has potential . But wouldn’t recommend or stay again. Very disappointed and overpriced for this experience.

Just as described

Was looking for a place to sleep in middle of a long drive. Saved a lot of money by getting off the highway a few miles. Unique location and a super nice owner. I will return.

I am very glad that Expedia includes Bed and Breakfasts in its listings. The experience at one of these is definitely more interesting than a hotel. This one is located on a beautiful piece of property. We didn't have time to walk around too much but we enjoyed hearing all the birds. The house is definitely historical. Sometimes it showed its age, but was generally comfortable. The breakfast was pretty good and we would stay there again.

The carpeting in our room was soaking wet. We didn’t realize till we took off our shoes. We called the owner who sent his daughter. She said” oh the people who were here last night overfilled the jacuzzi tub in our room ( did not order a jacuzzi room) and we did for the best we could.” She put down a towel. I requested to speak with the owner ( spoke with owners wife) but never had the common courtesy to call me. And grossly, there are dead bugs everywhere. In hdd ed common areas and on the window sills. Never again. Dirty and gross

This property is stunning. Built in 1760, it maintains its history while being spacious and comfortable. Our suite had a separate living room with a hot tub and fireplace. Perfect!

The property was beautiful. The accommodations were as advertised and the owner was very friendly.

This is such a charming place to stay. There are so many nooks and crannies in which you can read, observe, relax. The breakfast of scrambled eggs, fruit, granola , and waffles was good. There is ample outdoor seating for good weather. All in all, it was a relaxing and enjoyable stay. I would definitely return.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful weekend stay! Check in and check out was very easy, the food was delicious, and the house was gorgeous! We would love to return to get away from our stress levels! Thank you!!!
