There was this constant loud rattling and shaking below my room. The ambience of the room felt uncomfortable as well. The bed was very uncomfortable. It was a good deal for short notice but not quality.

Very central hotel.

Nice hotel in a very convenient location in downtown Glasgow. Staff was very helpful in providing directions to the airport.

Very convenient for train

I arrived this hotel after a train journey from London - I had read the reviews & it seemed good value for a 1 night short stay before going to a conference nearby. I arrived to a shabby looking hotel in a fairly undesirable area. Having already been told the lift is out of order and no known date for its repair I’d had to phone to request a room on the first floor as I suffer with mobility issues. This was done, but it required a walk up 3 short flights of stairs. The bottom of the stairs is a fire exit which it seems was shared with adjoining Indian takeaway as had staff members in the doorway. The room itself was basic and not particularly welcoming - the bathroom although clean had black marks in the grout and in the bottom of the bath. I didn’t feel comfortable staying here so booked another nearby hotel (the one motel) for not much more and left my door key at reception on the way out. The other hotel was a million miles away from the standard here so my advice is stay elsewhere.

Perfect location across from Glasgow Central. Nice big room with everything I needed for one night.

Room was nice and clean but walls had a few stains on them. Bathroom was clean. The room was very nice spacious with large windows. Only problem was the noise from outside but after 11.30pm this stopped. Lift was not working but I don't use lifts and I was on the first floor. I did ask if there was breakfast but the assistant on the desk said there was not.

Good points:- Great price, great location great staff, very clean room, comfy bed, good reception bar. Bad points:- pretty noisy, room shakes when a train comes in, leg fell off the other bed my friend was in! Obviously I found that hilarious her not so much as it did it 3 times in the night!!

Hotel a bit tired but good vfm in city centre.

One night stay for a show so not spending anytime in the hotel apart from sleep and a shower , the room for one night done a job but seriously needs a facelift. Carpets were threadbare, bath had black marks on it and toilet has constant running water.

Ideal for a short stay. Room could do with a refurbishment as a bit tired. But everything was clean and tidy and the kift wasn't working so 3 flights of stairs
