While the beach and beach access was nice, the resort itself was not the best. Check in was a nightmare. With little to no directions provided ahead of time- we arrived late and spent 30 mins in the dark trying to find someone to check us in. There isn’t a sign for the resort and the security guard we finally found wandering the parking lot couldn’t tell us if we were at the right location. We ended up with a ground floor unit at the back of the property that had dingy furniture and was over run with flies. Also the bathroom shower in the master flooded the bathroom with each shower. The pools were not well maintained either.

We've stayed at AB resort before and had a certain type room. We were expecting same type of room, but got a different type room that was a bit cramped for four but it worked ok. Also they've started charging for parking at the resort, which is kind of odd and unnecessary, but it is what it is.

Really great in terms of beach access and pool and hot tub access. Very quiet. The property was generally very nice but the beds were not the cleanest and the patio door was broken and inaccessible as a result.

Nice resort. Accessible to the beach. Only flaw there is no cleaning service unless you request it .

Checkin gentleman was extremely helpful. Disappointed splash pad wasn’t working . Over all great stay. Nice facility.

Front desk closes at 7 no information on how to check in after 7 pm had to call security guard to get room information never seen or heard from resort staff overall very nice clean and quite enjoyed our stay

The room quality was not good, from the moment we open the front door that was broken. The subfloor was definitely rotted out... from the front door, the kitchen area, many spots in the hallway & second bedroom the floor felt sponge-ee and in certain spots we literally felt like we would fall through. We let the property know but was told "we'll have maintenance look into it" which they never did and no further communication was had regarding the issues. The cleanliness was sapar at best. The corners and floor had dust bunnies and looked to be rushed to be clean and was VERY Grimey. The furniture was dirty and stained and definitely needed a GOOD clean. We were pretty disappointed in this stay. We've stayed here before two separate times and loved it! So this was a BIG let down for all of us.

Older property but comfortable. Main points of the room were clean but patio, baseboards and floor were dirty. Walls are exceptionally thin, so you will be part of your neighbors vacation. Fan in the bedroom was broken, missing artwork from bedroom wall, towel hanger pulled out of wall. Check in is at 4pm and strict check out of 10am. A list of cleaning items that need to be completed before check out. I didn't mind but it seems Hotel check ins/outs are becoming later/earlier. The pools were nice but never used them. Plenty of towels and loved having a washer/dryer. Felt very beachy and just down the road from a beautiful park and shopping. I would definitely stay again.

2 night stay with family to enjoy beach. Nice room and facilities.

Our AC in the unit was out during a week with temps in mid 90s. We were not offered a room change until we had to call security on the 4th night. Each day, they would send someone out to reset the system, it would run for a couple hours then shut off again. Management was not responsive to our concerns. Only the after hours security guys were of any help. Its still a great beach so we made the best of it, but decided to leave 1 day early.

Have stayed several times and always very pleased, staff worked hard to accommodate a special request, will definitely stay again!

Great stay. Large rooms, 2 outdoor pools were perfect. We went to hot tub at night. Walkable to a few restaurants or less than 5 mins drive to lots more. It had beach access so no car needed which was very convenient.

Stopped by the beach for a few days with the family. My wife, daughter, and myself stayed for 2 days. We were able to check in a couple hours which was great. Our room was clean and spacious. The pools and hot tub were awesome. The only downside was the walk from our room to the beach. We were on the opposite side of the property.

Poor communication and false information given about the rooms so we went expecting an ocean view and got to look at a giant tree all week instead. Not clean, you do everything yourself (trash, linens, ect) despite being told they’d come swap out linens at check in. Bugs and hair on the floor of the room upon arrival & smelled like pot, constant dogs barking in every direction. We want a vacation from our vacation now.

Great location. Easy access to beach. Accommodations were clean. A little noisy with kids next door one night but otherwise would recommend staying here.

Very noisy, any walking or small kids jumping on floors above is very annoying. From 8a-11p there was constant noise on floor above us. Not relaxing and would not stay again unless on top floor.

Great property for family vacations

They were very friendly and helpful. Anytime I needed something or didn't understand something they were kind in explaining it to me and getting me what I needed

It was nice to enjoy a trip to Atlantic Beach for my birthday.
