What you need to know. Fiji is HOT. Restaurants are not air conditioned. Snorkeling off resort is marginal. Food is good but buffet needs help. We did not need the food plan. People stake out the best spots at the adult pool even though they are not supposed to. Staff is delightful but make sure they understand you. Over all we were pleasantly surprised. We loved the sea front bure.

Nice place to stay, good for families. Good food, clean resort, room. Use caution when booking activities even when you think it’s Outrigger. It may be an outside vendor. Ask questions. How long in water? What time will we return?

The service was great, welcoming drinks on arrival, complementary drinks and appetisers delivered to the room every afternoon. Staff are friendly and nice. Really nice property with great amenities however, could have built a bigger car park to accommodate for all guests. Food is a bit pricey but good. Overall was pleased with my stay

This resort is for families with kids under the age of 10. It’s like a kids summer camp, not a 5 star beach resort. The adult pool has last call at 4:30 and closes at 5:00, but the tennis courts next to it are open until 9:00, and the kids are flopping around at their pool until sundown. Staff acts like overworked daycare workers. They are like robots compared to every other friendly warm staff we encountered at other hotels.

We had a lovely stay at OUTRIGGER Fiji Beach Resort. The resort has a very authentic Fijian feel, however the rooms are a bit outdated and could use some updating. The main issue we experienced was in the bathroom — floating floors were used, and water went everywhere after every shower, meaning we had to clean up each time. That said, the outdoor pool area more than made up for it. The pool, slide and inflatable activities were a huge hit with our kids — we spent most of our days there. There were also plenty of activities available for both adults and children, which made it a great family destination. The resort itself is very large and beautiful, though some areas would benefit from a bit of sprucing up overall. The food was incredible. Especially the seafood-- it was absolutely AMAZING — some of the best seafood I’ve ever had. Most importantly, the staff were absolutely beautiful. The service was impeccable — everyone was genuinely lovely, happy, and welcoming, which truly made our stay special. Overall, we highly recommend this resort, particularly for families. With some updates to the rooms, it would be exceptional.

Everything was an amazing experience

The room was spotless very clean and the resort as a whole scores 10/10. From the meals, entertainment and warm bula smile from the staff was the pinnacle of what made our time in Outrigger a memorable experience. Vinaka vakalevu outrigger staff members for making our stay a memorable one.

Check in and check out was smooth. Room was neat and clean. We encountered an issue and the moved us quickly to another room. Coffee at the coffee shop near reception was great. Buffet Lovo dinner was nice. A lot of improvement since our last trip. Beach is beautiful. Snorkeling and swimming is best at high tide. We snorkelled and saw some beautiful fish, sea cucumbers, starfish etc. Overall a nice stay at a great location for us.
