Dusty room and facilities. Dirt on the carpets in hallways and stairs. Poor standards in the changing room and pool area. Again poor house keeping. The breakfast was poor. Small selection, help yourself style, the bacon and hashbrown were soggy, only a questionable scrabbled egg. Stale croissants. yuk! £12.50 for breakfast, not worth the money. I wont be returning.

Room was cold. Generally the hotel was too cold.

The room was spacious and clean the staff was friendly. The hotel is in a good location with things to do nearby.

It was an ok stay. Rooms were a little underwhelming, my bed was wobbly and was held up with extra wood! Had to move rooms once as toilet blocked. Staff were not the friendliest. The bar food was minimal quantities with a high price, certainly nothing special! The location was great tho and easy for what we needed it for! Warm and quiet hotel. Good price.

The chairs need cleaning when arrived long grey hair on the chairs and ladies period. Blood on toilet seat just need better cleansing.

We were not advised that breakfast closed at 0900 hrs We arrived just after 0900 to find things being cleared away etc We had paid for breakfast via the hotels.com website and so the hotel was not able to issue a refund In respect of the room - it was clearly thought acceptable to be offered room with a dehumidifier to try and get rid of the damp smell. We eventually were allocated another room but why was it acceptable to be allocated a damp musty room in the first place

Verynice. However the lady on checkout was not helpful and very rude. Wouldnt help me with check out said i had to do myself, and told me my lost property had not been found even though housekeeping has found it. .this put me off ataying here again

On the Saturday where we turn up we sign in and went our room we got changed and went out for dinner when when we got back from dinner we found spiders and ladybugs and in the room and on the bed also we had a bed which was two twins beds put together we kept on falling through the bed all night and on Sunday we went to town when we got back the cleaning lady had shut how door so hard that the lock came on and we couldn’t get in the room we had to wait for one hour we told the manager that we had to get ready for a dinner we was going with family the time we got in to the room and the manager said we were going to move out and in to another room when we got in the room we got washed and changed then we got to the dinner late it was all over so we went back to the room when I got back we didn’t want to stay in the hotel any more so we just got how stuff and left I will not be staying in this hotel anymore

Friendly staff, lovely breakfast, decor abut dated probably needs a bit of an upgrade

The staff was great nothing was a problem the staff where very professional in there roles held at the he hote

I literally was checked-in and went to my room, only to discover the filthiest place I’ve ever seen, talkless of paid to stay in. I immediately vacated the room. It had stains and mould. I complained and was offered a ‘bigger’ room. I said the size wasn’t the issue and the lady Elena at the reception told me I could leave and I will be fully refunded. Only for Shaun who apparently is the manager to refund only half of my payment. I was booked to stay for 2 nights. Shaun refunded 1 night and said it’s because I refused a different room. Mind you, I travelled from far, had a restaurant reservation and elena said she can’t guarantee the cleaniliness of the other rooms. What was I to do?! I need my full refund asap! This is a fraudulent organisation if my refund is not fully processed. I spent less than 5mins in that filthy looking room. I am asthmatic and mould in a building can be very harmful to me and can kill me. So I don’t understand why this is difficult

A wonderful stay, with good gym and pool. Breakfast being available from 0630 is excellent for business customers. I often find places I stay do not start breakfast until after I’ve left for work.

Staff and facilities were nice, bathroom could have done with some repairs, tap was loose and tile grouting looked a bit gross. Not sure what was going on with the heating as was boiling in the room, had to have the wi does open and fan on at the end of November

Very large room for the 4 of us, and plenty of space to stretch out, one of the lights were flickering, it was reported, but advised no-one would be able to look at it until the week (we stayed over the weekend). Ironing board was broken, so the room was a little tired. Overall however, we were only here for 1 night, and it served as a useful stopover mid journey, and the beds were very comfortable.
