En la habitación elegida (económica): Internet fatal. Se fue la luz y al poner grupo electrógeno (muy ruidoso) dio más problemas. Desayuno limitado. Baño regular. Mal aislamiento acústico. Piscina regular.

The location is great, but this hotel needs some re-investment. Nowhere to unpack except a very old, dusty, and musty-smelling cabinet. TV too large for the table it sits on, so it leans weirdly against the wall. Terrible shower water pressure and often no hot water. Very harsh lighting. Somewhat standoffish staff who were not always available. No parking, despite what the Expedia listing said. Double bed instead of the Queen we booked. There were other hotels on the block that I found myself wishing I had booked for a little more money instead.

Truly the most awful hotel experience. From the terrible night crew desk person, dungeon style grate in the room floor, mosquito infested, no soap and poorly maintained bathroom with a hole in the screen, humid warm room and lastly the soiled, bug remains and bodily hair left on the sheets from the previous guest- we left running! Did I mention the swampy murky looking pool that you should never use? Why is this place so awful ?

The shower is cold, the breakfast is poor and the room is noisy. Everything else is just adequate. All little things. The toilet paper holder is upside down. The roll falls off. Don't touch the desk, it will fall apart. No trim around the door. Peeling wall paper. Mismatched furniture. There's no attention to details. What are the things like that you can't see. I'm in my regular hotel now. It was full. I know why Hotel Dona Elvira had available rooms. Only use as a last resort.

Good location. Beautiful old building, but a little bit run down. Clean rooms.

The top four reasons I filtered were a fail . Said room was sound proof- my room was in the lobby literally. Said there was parking- none! Pool- very small and murky color. Breakfast- didn’t have items that were listed from the three dishes. Hot water had to be demanded

Nice historical building. Clean rooms and good breakfast. Wish they had lunch or dinner options at the hotel during our stay but the breakfast was very good. Staff was very helpful and recommended good restaurants and museums to visit. Had a nice time.

Nous avons eu une assez mauvaise expérience avec le personnel de cet hotel et malheureusement, cela a teinté tout le séjour. Très mauvais accueil dès le départ, aucun sourire, pas d'explications sur le fonctionnement de l'hotel, l'heure des déjeuners, etc. On nous somme seulement de payer à l'arrivée l'intégralité du séjour de façon assez rude ma foi, aores nous avoir montré la chambre, j'ai cru qu'il allait défoncer la porte! cune suggestion d'activités ou de recommendations de restaurants dans la capitale. Le propriétaire n'a aucune manières avec ses clients et semble détester le service à la clientèle. Lorsqu'on pose une question, on nous répond sèchement sans plus. Pas d'eau potable pour les clients non plus, ils vendent des bouteilles d'eau et nous ont carrément menti en disant qu'il ne restait plus de déjeuners dominicain alors qu'ils en ont servi à d'autres clients sous nos yeux(!) Je donne rarement d'aussi mauvaises critiques mais pour moi, ça na passe pas. Je ne recommande pas cet hotel malgré sa localisation et ses prix correctes, la chambre avec la sdb adjacente était jolie mais l lits sont durs et la literie tachée. Il y a plein d'hotels dans la capitale, allez voir ailleurs ! Nous nous sommes fait réveillés pratiquement tous les matins entre 7h et 8h, soit par la télévision des voisins, les employés qui parlent fort ou les enfants des autres clients. Jamais, ils se sont excusés pour le dérangement et n'ont proposé de compensations. A mon avis, c'est inacceptable.

The hotel ripped us off of $320. We paid with cash for the sizable discount but they still charged our credit card as well. The hotel will not respo d to my requests.

It’s in Zona near Ballittini Hotel and The Large Church. It has a nice quiet traditional vibe. My room 14, was small but it was cleaned everyday. AC , ceiling fan and TV all worked. No condiments given except one roll of toilet paper and one towel which is not changed daily. Breakfast was Traditional American or Traditional Dominican. The Fresh Juice was good. The staff is very nice. They are there to help but not overbearing. Doors are locked at night and must be let in by staff. PLEASE BE PATIENT and Knock Softly. I would recommend for short stays

There were roaches in the bed. No water pressure in the bathroom (shower head).

Quiero resaltar la buena atención al cliente que tienen en este hotel, antes de mi llegada fueron muy amables en darme detalles de mi estancia. Y quiero sugerirles que no reserven la habitación más sencilla porque es bastante incómoda y pequeña, fuera de eso, todo súper.
