This hotel is just average. The price is very expensive for what you get. It is not good value for money. The rooms are small, the fridge in our room was broken and we asked about it and still no one came to help or fix it. We could not get milk for our tea in the evening and asking for additional teabags and a fresh towel was such a task we nearly gave up. The night staff member was rude and unhelpful. The buffet breakfast was below average. The pool is good on the hot days. Most of the staff are lovely.

Cooling off stay in Grand Hotel Gianicolo!

5 dages kæreste tur til Rom, ok gå afstand til alt, vær opmærksom på dårlig belægning og mange trapper. Fantastisk at kunne kombinere pool ferie med storbyferie. Kæmpe grønt område 800 meter væk til løbe/gåtur, God rengøring og lækker seng. Mulighed for Netflix uden lag.

Personeel was erg vriendelijk, ontbijtbuffet prima. En heel fijn zwembad. Restaurant viel tegen, te duur voor wat je krijgt.

Pool was amazing for a break from walking the city … very difficult hills, only walkable to city for the fit.

Fantastisk og hyggelig personell som alltid står til tjeneste. God beligenhet og fint, kanskje litt utdatert hotell. Nydelig basseng og deilig, men lite variert frokost inkludert. Drar gjerne tilbake.

Grounds are beautiful and immaculately kept. Pool is a nice quiet reprieve. Overall hotel is kept very clean but is very dated and worn around the edges. Rooms are very simple but clean. Only critique-We were very unhappy with the uncomfortable old beds. Squeaky springs that after 6 nights, left you achy in the mornings. Front desk advised that none of the rooms have anything better so a change of rooms wasn’t possible. Restaurant staff is great, breakfast was good. I would say, come for the pool mostly.

Its sits on top of one of the most important hills in Rome.hiking pathways 100 feet away.

The bonus was a beautiful pool and patio garden.

The staff were extremely professional but could also be friendly when my husband was being a clown. Haha

Great location at the top of Janiculum hill to get great views over the city with a lovely park close by. Great to walk down to the abundance of restaurants in the quirky cobbled streets of Trastevere. Very steep walk back up to hotel which we enjoyed for the fitness but plenty of buses, taxi’s if you’d prefer. The staff at hotel were all wonderful and welcoming fantastic service and the pool was great for relaxing after all the site seeing

Skønt hotel beliggende tæt på Gianicolohøjen. Mulighed for at slappe af ved poolområdet og haven. Morgenmaden består af et pænt udvalg af mad og kage.

Fina och mycket rena rum. Trevlig personal. Bra frukost för att vara i Italien, det finns något för alla smaker inte bara sötsaker. Lugnt område på en kulle. Man måste åka buss åtminstone tillbaka till hotellet. Men det går lätt nu när man kan betala med sitt kreditkort på bussen. Det går flera busslinjer nära hotellet. De har en fin takterass som tyvärr inte var öppen ännu. Jag kan varmt rekommendera hotellet.
