A beautiful hotel in the heart of the old city but also within walking distance of the new areas. Only a short distance from the Port or 20 minutes drive to the airport. Comfortable rooms, great service and a super breakfast to start your day.

All was good. Excellent breakfast and helpful personnel.

For our first time in Estonia, this was a good stay. Priced well and overall a good stay. The rooms are very small, bathroom is impossible for 2 people to be in at the same time. There are other options nearby we will choose for next time. We got what we paid for. Staff was reasonably polite but it’s also the culture, something you have to get used to.

Kjempekoselig hotell. Små, men rene og fine rom. Plassert øverst i gamlebyen med gåavstand til alt. Veldig hyggelig personale.

Vom Flughafen aus ist man mit dem Bus unter 30 Min. in der Innenstadt. Von der Endstelle aus, ist das Rija Old Town Hotel fussläufig sehr gut erreichbar. Die Lage ist spitze. Direkt an der mittelalterlichen Stadtmauer gelegen. Alles ist gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Die dicke Margarete, Museen, die Ostsee, besonders die charmante mittelalterliche Altstadt mit ihrem Rathaus und dem Weihnachtsmarkt. In der Nähe befinden sich Geschäfte, Supermärkte, Restaurants. Im Hotel hatte ich ein Einzelzimmer mit Frühstück. Das Zimmer war schlicht, modern, funktional eingerichtet. Garderobe, Kofferablage, Schubladen. Schreibtisch, Stuhl, Bett. Badezimmer klein & fein. Alles neu, Blitzsauber. Die Frühstückszeiten sind großzügig. Das Frühstücksbuffett lässt keine Wünsche offen. So Vielfältig und frisch. Egal welche Ernährungspräferenzen man hat, von frischen Heringssalaten über warme Speisen: Fleischbällchen, Würstchen, Rührei, Baked Beans, gemischten warmen Gemüsen. Verschiedene Brotsorten, süße Teilchen, Aufschnitt, Käse, Marmeladen, große Auswahl an Rohkost usw. Der Kaffee ist sehr gut und ist aus dem Vollautomat Tassenweise frisch gebrüht. Auch bei der Milch gibt es Auswahl an laktosefreier Milch, Vollmilch, Hafermilch. Für jeden, der gerne mit einem guten Frühstück in den Tag startet, ist hier bestens bedient. Das Personal ist stets freundlich, liebenswert und immer mit Rat zur Stelle. Auch Tipps für Ausflüge, öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln. Gerne wieder.

Lovely hotel located within the walls of the old city. Breakfast excellent. Our original room was in the basement although a fine room we did not want to be there and they accommodated our request to be moved the next day for the rest of our stay

Rija Old Town er et enkelt hotell, men velholdt, seriøst og ordentlig. Jeg har bodd der flere ganger og kommer gjerne tilbake. Vennlig betjening. Innholdsrik og velsmakende frokost med flere varmretter og stort utvalg i salater. Interessant og sjarmerende bygning der den gamle bymuren er én av veggene.

Very central for exploring the old town and an easy walk to the ferry terminal for a day trip to Helsinki. Friendly staff, the breakfast was lovely. Would definitely recommend.

フェリー乗り場からも歩き、タリンの街に入ってすぐにありました。そのため、街散策にはとても便利でした。 設備も清潔でシンプル、快適に過ごせました。そして種類も豊富で美味しい朝食がいただけ、非常に満足しました。 お勧めしたいホテルです。

Friendliness of staff, location, cleanliness, breakfast

This hotel has a great location for travelers who want to explore the old town. The area is very walkable and quiet. My room was not big, but as a solo traveller it was sufficient. Please note, there is no air conditioning, so it may get warm in summer. it would have been helpful if there was a fan. My room had a small old fan that can generate regular and warm air, but it was not helpful for me to cool down. One of the highlights was the breakfast which I enjoyed very much. It had pickled herring, cheese, eggs, olives, croissants, grilled veggies, meatballs and more. They had a nice espresso machine as well.

Excellent hotel. The staff were amazing and very professional, friendly and welcoming. The room was big enough and clean. The breakfast, although buffet, you could have as much or little as you wanted. If you want a fantastic hotel within easy walking distance of all the attractions (all within 10 minutes) and 2 minutes from the bus/tram stop then this is the hotel for you. Woukd highly recommend this hotel to everyone.
