Lovely hotel in fantastic location which is easily accessible by public transport if needed. All staff are extremely pleasant and professional. All areas of the hotel are clean and well kept. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. Stayed on a half board basis and found the food to be good quality with excellent variety. The pools areas were excellent with plenty of sunbeds.

I think this could be a good review to read because there was a lot happening. I had a few issues and I would say overall I’m happy with my stay and facilities. The only thing that let it down if I’m honest was the time to respond to issues and problems. But it’s a very busy hotel and I can accept it could be tricky to deal with a high number of customers. The only negative overall for me was the food. Hotel Facilities 5/5 Clean and tidy 4/5 Staff 5/5 Food 2/5 Location 4/5 All inclusive 3/5 (only because their is a limit on restaurants to once per restaurant and they only have two open. So 7 nights you have to eat dinner at buffet for 5 nights which food was shocking.)

We stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Malta as a family of five—my husband, our three kids, and myself—and had a lovely time overall. The staff were warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived, and the kids were thrilled with the signature chocolate chip cookies at check-in! Our room was spacious, clean, and had a stunning sea view that we all enjoyed. The location is perfect—right by the water and close to the bus terminal, which made exploring Malta really easy. The kids loved the pool and beach access, and there were plenty of dining options to keep everyone happy. The hotel felt very family-friendly, and the staff were always helpful and accommodating. The only downside was some construction noise early in the mornings, which occasionally woke us up earlier than we would have liked. It wasn’t a dealbreaker, but something to be aware of if you're a light sleeper. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to other families. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

We had an excellent time at this hotel, plenty of things to do, very helpful staff and the Steak restaurant, Carv was particularly good. The area around the hotel seems to be a bit of a work in progress but that didn’t detract from an excellent holiday

Alles top. Das Essen hat mir entäuscht. Nicht so grosse Auswahl/ geschmacklos. Jedenfalls empfehlenswert .

Der Zugang zum Meer ist aufgrund Bauarbeiten nicht gegeben und wurde zuvor nicht mitgeteilt. Um 0710 Uhr stand ich im Fitnessraum vor verschlossenen Türen. Morgenbuffet geht so - dort aber ist das Personal sehr freundlich - in der Bar läuft überall Fussball in den TV's obwohl eine Liveband/-Singer da wären. In der Bar Personal teilweise unfreundlich. An der Rezeption je nach Person freundliche Art oder genervt/abschätzig. TOP jedoch das Beef-Restaurant mit Qualität und Freundlichkeit.

Gutes Hotel - gibt wenig zu meckern. Leider war das Frühstück nicht unser Geschenk. In der Umgebung gibt es aber genügend Alternativen. Für unseren Geschmack war das Hotel zu groß und leider auch relativ laut.

The Double Tree Hotel is a wonderful hotel. It is of high standard and the staff are friendly, and helpful. The rooms are of good size and well maintained. The restaurant serves up some great food. There are 2 pool areas. Both have a different vibe, and there are another areas to relax in the gardens. All outside areas have a sea view with a sunset. Lovely stay. Thank you

Nice room with sea view. Huge bathroom. Breakfast is ok. Dinner there is no pizza option.

Th staff was wonderful and the hotel beautiful. Amazingly clean. We had a 1/2 board deal and the food was great. We loved our stay and highly recommended it.

All the staff were very friendly and happy. Clean and newly renovated. Three minute walk to public bus terminal. Three pools and a pool bar ! Great spot on the water. Could use more lighting in the bathroom sink/mirror area.

The hotel is updated and comfortable. The view is beautiful and the food at the buffet is good and with a lot of options, as well as the cocktails and other drinks, even the ones in the all inclusive. Our room was spacious and the pool areas are nice and cool. There was limited entertainment, just live music in the evening. The airco in our room wasn't very efficient. The service at both restaurants was not great. In Juniper they were very nice, but slow. In Ombre the waiters were kind, but one of the evening hosts was not nice and even rude. At the reception it also varied. Lara was amazing welcoming us and always greeted us with a smile, but other people were less helpful and kind. When we asked for an extra bed for our son, the only one that was able to find a solution was Pepa, who was in charge of cleaning our room and did an excellent choice. In general it was a very good stay, but there are a lot of things that can be easily improved.

Die Sauberkeit in den Zimmern könnte einen Ticken besser sein.

Wenn man nicht viel vom Personal gestört werden sollte, ist hier richtig. Allerdings ist es auch schwer, jemanden zu finden, der einem Auskunft geben kann ( außer der Rezeption, die oft voll ist). Das Essen ( Frühstück) ist eher Britisch, also warm. Was übrig bleibt ist aber echt lecker. Die Zimmer sind ok, aber die Umgebung ist etwas laut ( aber das ist überall so). Pools im Außenbereich sind schön und gepflegt. Innere Pools war im April Recht voll, da aussen noch etwas kühl war, aber auch ok.

I would say some times the breakfast and dinner buffet food is a hit and miss.

Die Toilette im Badezimmer war undicht und konnte nicht repariert werden. Ein Mitarbeiter versuchte durch Verfugen das Leck abzudichten - was ihm aber nicht gelang. Ein anderes Zimmer wurde uns nicht angeboten, weshalb wir nach zwei Tagen (wir hatten wohlweislich nicht länger gebucht) das Hotel wechselten. An der Rezeption hatten wir bei unseren Reklamationen immer andere Ansprechpartner, denen wir das Problem immer von neuem erklären mussten. Bei unserer Abreise dann auch kein Wort des Bedauerns. Das Personal an der Rezeption erschien uns leicht überfordert.

We had an amazing extended stay here. Property was new and clean. Our house keeper was so good!
