The place is not as described on the website. The staff were wonderful and friendly and very accommodating. The breakfast was also very good. But the location is not what is described. It is not beachfront. It’s 200+ steps to a rocky beach that has blasting music happening from two in the afternoon until 9 o’clock at night And it is an open beach club so many people at the beach line. Also views of this hotel are either a crane and construction or I burned out graffiti ridden empty old car park. There are some wonderful views if you get full beachfront view which we eventually did so we really appreciate the manager helping us get a different room

There were both positive and negative aspects of this hotel. Positives: -Beautiful sea view. -Very good breakfast with a wide variety. -Good spa facilities and an acceptable outdoor pool. -Convenient shuttle service to the town center. -The Triton restaurant was excellent with friendly staff. Negatives: -The hotel did not meet five-star standards in cleanliness and room quality. -Floors the premises were dirty, and cleaning was irregular despite the large space and many guests. -The sea-view room was large but furnished randomly and without taste. -The coffee maker leaked, and the air conditioning panel sometimes got stuck. -The bathroom was small with a shower lacking any wall or curtain, causing water to spread everywhere after use, which is so impractical and unusual for a 5-star hotel. -Some staff were inattentive and unclear with information provided.

First impressions matter. After booking this hotel 2 months before arrival, it felt that we were given THAT room which nobody else wanted or would have taken. We complained and were given a different room the next day, no other rooms available in the whole hotel apparently. It didn't stop us living out of a suitcase for £300 a night room though.

Clean rooms, nice breakfast, welcoming staff.

Overall the property is great but the rooms are bland and dates

Le staff est gentil et serviable. Le petit dej est varié et riche. Les lits sont confortables. L’hôtel doit faire attention à certain petits détails dans les chambres qui qui commencent à vieillir. L’hôtel ne donne pas accès directement à la plage contrairement aux photos, des sites en constructions autour qui commencent à 7h du matin

Great amenities with the breakfast buffet options and the indoor/outdoor pools. We just loved it.

This hotel is incredible and exceeded our already high expectations. From the moment we checked in, Michel was welcoming, efficient , and with his colleague Ivan, helped us out throughout the stay with any questions or needs. There were three of us and we had a fantastic sea view and the room size was impressive and a fantastic experience and of high quality. Food great, breakfast incredible, and prices were in line with the rest of split. The mistral beach bar, pool and bar and service from the staff was of a really high standard . Had a decent stay here but the rooms definitely were not 5 star standard. They are outdated and have a weird layout. The hotel itself was nice - breakfast buffet a particular highlight. Don’t think the hotel is worth the price you’re paying for the rooms.

Lovely hotel with fantastic views of the coast. The hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful during our stay, and each day started with an excellent breakfast. We enjoyed using the outside pool and spa . It was great to use the hotel shuttle bus to get to the centre of Split. Overall a very relaxing and memorable holiday.

Cleanliness of room was not ideal and room layout was a bit odd. Would not stay here again

A great hotel with fabulous amenities

Hotel is a bit of a distance from the old town but they lay on a free shuttle service. The staff are all very friendly. The older gentleman (concierge) is extremely helpful and has plenty of recommendations for whatever your interests are. The staff in the dining room are all very pleasant especially the maitre de. Drinks are very expensive.

Jättefint! Trevlig personal, god mat, otrolig frukost, bra med spa, rena poolar, osv. 10/10 would recommend! Värt pengarna. Det enda negativa är att det var långt från stan, men bussarna gick bra så det var ingen fara.

This hotel is as good as a 3-star hotel.

For one I cannot recommend the spa enough. Both me and my other traveller had the best massages we’ve ever had and we’ve both had a lot in our time. The facilities within the hotel were lovely. Breakfast was a bit predictable but you could have varied it yourself as there was enough choice, including an omelette and pancake station. The room’s decor was not the prettiest but it wasn’t hideous. The centre was walkable along the beach from the hotel and it took about 40 minutes, I would say don’t stop on your way to the centre for a drink as I paid €7 for a coke at one of the places. My major problem is that the surrounding area was incredibly unappealing. It doesn’t do the centre of Split justice. There was abandoned and graffitied building sites right next to the hotel. As well as lots of building work going on around it, specifically right next to the beach club. Obviously, this is eventually going to be beneficial to the area as what they’re building sounds great. But makes for a rather disappointing experience and creates a lot of dust as well.

Very good staff, space and facilities (breakfast/spa). Initially, I had difficulties as I had booked a room that was not available upon check-in. Nena (front office manager) resolved the issue to my satisfaction (many thanks Nena and team). Overall, a very relaxing three night stay in Split. I would suggest to future guests to make use of the hotel facilities (spa/shuttle bus etc)and ask questions - staff will help you.

Our first stop on our trip. Spent 2 nights - very pretty. Breakfast was amazing, everyone was very nice. Loved it! The pool didn't open until May 1st, so we missed out on that. Otherwise, would definitely stay here again!
