We are 4 friends that spend same amount of money for booking snd wants to stay close to each other but we separated in different levels and with different rooms types. I also got disappointed from last minute app that why this thing happened!!!!

Good property near to everything

Great stay at Rydges Cairns. Right from the word go, reception staff were welcoming, kind and efficient. Beds were comfortable although I am on the shorter side and twin beds were a little small. Overall, clean and good value

great short stay only problem when i got up the power trip off but lucky i showered that night before but great hotel great staff and will return one day. regards Tony Evans

Good location. A bit rundown, did notatch the brand and the price

Unfortunately, the double beds were really doubles and not queens. (We have become accustomed to beds which are listed as "double" beds being actually two "queen" beds in Australia, even in hotels which do not have as many pretensions as Rydges.) We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant for the three nights. Oddly, they poured us cold water and then took the jug away on the first and third nights - and did not regularly return to offer refills. The climate in Cairns is such that we were continually asking for refills of cold water whenever a staff member did reappear with food or to clear the table. The middle night, the server did leave the water jug, considerately on a saucer to catch the condensation.

友人が自分より先に到着して部屋に入ったが、部屋にゴミが残っていたようで掃除してくれていた(ゴミ箱一杯分)。冷房はon/offしかないので温度調節ができない。宿泊中、常にタオルが足りず一緒に宿泊した友人がレセプションにもらいにいってた。また、使用済みのグラスも変えてくれないと怒っていた。

Good stay with family and staff were nice

Staff, facilities and room were all top class. Food was just OK. I thought $35 special for the breakfast was a bit much for the limited variety on choice. (only one eggs, short or long black coffee at the machine) For dinner I ordered a medium/well done steak and it came out medium/rare. I've found in restaurants that if a cook cant determine doneness in steaks, it's not much use sending it back. I ate it all but not as enjoyable as a $48 steak should be.

Stayed here a few times over the years for business and in the past i've always been provided a free upgrade to ocean-view, which wasn't the case this time, but did have a nice view of the mountains. The 12th floor lobby hadn't been vacuumed all week + my toilet seat in room1201 was falling off. The bar ( and Gus's memory for drinks over the week was amazing) & restaurant are very nice.

The hotel staff were lovely but the hotel could use a refurb as it is looking a bit dated.

Nice big rooms. The shower over bath is a bit outdated. Remote for TV needs to be replaced as had a hard time turning it on

Best part of the stay was the pool and the room size which quite generous, everything else was either underwhelming or disappointing. Fine for a place to rest your head for a night or two, but would not look to return due a number of issues across the board.

Hotel looks a bit tired and worn-out but rooms were clean. Staff friendly but inconsistent with information.

Pleasant service at check-in, room was nice and clean and roomy. Car parking was convenient. Short 10 minute walk to the restaurants, excellent stay.
