This is a beautiful island and well worth a visit. The waterfront villas were perfect and had everything you could possibly need. Food was excellent, and that included the buffet breakfast, buffet lunch and buffet dinner. There was plenty of choice and it was great quality too. We also used all 4 of the à la carte restaurants which were also excellent. The beaches were wonderful and the sea was the typical turquoise green as you see in the photos of the Maldives. Pools also looked great, although we didn’t use them. The island is about 2km in circumference and very easy and enjoyable to walk around. You could request golf buggy transportation whenever you needed it which was very useful. Drinks and extras were expensive if you were not on an all inclusive package (US$14 for a beer) so that is something to be aware of. Apart from that, a perfect tropical island retreat! 🏝️

This was our 4th stay here and we were a little reticent as had heard the adult restaurant and bar were closed for refurbishment. However we were pleased to find the alternative in place was adult breakfast at the Asian wok which was amazing. We booked the a la carte restaurants for every evening and had a great experience. The staff are amazing as usual the building work is as discreet as it could be. Overall a great stay again

Meeru Resort was a wonderful place to vacation. From the room to the meals to the relaxing atmosphere, everything was phenomenal and very clean. Service was great everywhere we went. We can’t wait to return!

Séjour reposant et tres dépaysant dans ce cadre sauvage et qui a su conserver son cachet loin des resorts modernes et bétonés. Une ambiance très détendue, sans chichi, du personnel très souriant et accueillant. Un côté de l'île est plus sauvage et l'autre donne sur le lagon plus calme, mais les 2 ont leurs charmes et tout est facilement accessible à pieds. Même en saison des pluies, nous avons été ravis de notre séjour. La formule all inclusive est très bien et nous a permis de tester tous les restaurants de l'île et fonctionne jusqu'à départ de l'île. A renouveler avec plaisir.

Our first ever Maldives experience and Meeru made it a perfect one. They liaised with the hotel we were staying at the night before in Male to ensure speedboat was booked accordingly for our journey to the resort. Upon arrival, everything was picture perfect. The people, the place, the food, everything! Would 100% recommend and we’ll be back for sure.

Ein wirklich sehr gut geführtes und gepflegtes Resort. Es ist wie eine kleine Stadt aufgebaut. Absolut sauber und in Schuss. Da die Hauptsaison gerade vorbei ist, wird die Zeit genutzt um freie Villen wieder chic zu machen. Der Strand ist ein Traum, das kleine Hausriff zum schnorcheln leider nicht mehr so schön wie noch vor ein paar Jahren. Es wird viel angeboten: Golf, Tennis, Fitnessstudio, Spa, Yoga und sehr gutes Essen. Einziger Kritikpunkt waren tatsächlich ein paar wenige Mitarbeiter der Rezeption. Hier waren nicht alle immer freundlich. Man hatte manchmal das Gefühl zu stören, es wurde zum Beispiel mitten im Gespräch mit mir plötzlich Geld gezählt - keine Ahnung ob Trinkgeld oder was anderes. Aber das war alles andere als professionell. Aber gerade die Kellner ein im Restaurant und auch die Damen und Herren an den verschiedenen Bars waren immer sehr herzlich. Generell ist sehr positiv zu erwähnen, dass fast alle Mitarbeiter immer freundlich gegrüßt haben. Ein besonders Lob geht noch an unseren Roomboy, der 7 Tage hervorragende Arbeit geleistet hat und sehr aufmerksam war. Ich empfehle Meeru uneingeschränkt weiter.

Meeru was there to greet us when our plane arrived, we crossed the street and got on the yransfer speed boat, so easy and I was so worried !
