Lost in Translation! Won't stay here again. A/C did not work Towel warmer did not heat up Safe could not be closed Dinner and breakfast were outstanding though. Parking was a nightmare - after unloading bags we waited in the lobby for someone to show us where to park. A man came and directed several guests to our cars. He got in the front car seat next to my husband who was the driver. He assigned a random woman from the group to get in our back seat - why? We still don't know. When I entered the car to sit behind my husband he ordered me out of the car telling me only 3 people could come. We speak a little Hungarian - he spoke a little English so we communicated - sort of. We tried to explain that we were not parking our car and leaving it, but were planning on continue driving into the city after learning where the parking was. He still insisted that I exit the vehicle - so I had to wait at the hotel. It took a long time for my husband to return from the parking lot that was only 200 meters away. My husband told me that the man yelled at him when he did not understand his driving directions including his English order to turn at the "zebra" (said with a heavy, unrecognizable accent). We looked it up later and discovered that is the term used in England for a black and white crosswalk - we are from America! He made my husband park the car, exit the vehicle and then got angry when my husband returned to the car to drive it out of the lot to pick me up.

We love this hotel and have been here many times. It is not the most modern hotel, but the location, breakfast and dinner buffet, the rooms and the indoor pool are great!

Great property central to the lake . Food choices were great for breakfast and dinner . Would definitely stay here again .

Sehr schönes Hotel, sauber und gepflegt. Gut gelegen im Zentrum. Unser Zimmer war super, sehr geräumig (ca. 27 m²) und hell, mit Kühlschrank. Einziger Negativum, dass die Abluftventilatoren im Bad brutal laut sind. Die Aufzüge sind leider auch etwas klein. Wir haben Halbpension gebucht, das Essen war reichhaltig, vielfältig und viel Auswahl. Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es waren echt ein paar schöne Tage hier.

I felt like we were in a Wes Anderson movie: 70s chic! Fantastic wellness centre, spent many hours in the spa and pool. Dinner - canteen style - wasn't great but thats a reflection on the whole area, great food was hard to find.

We had a great stay at this hotel. We especially loved that the room was large and compy and location is great. The swimming pool in hotel was awesome, quiet and not to crowded. Breakfast and dinner was good and service was excellent!

Vom Empfang bis zur Abreise hat alles wunderbar geklappt und wir haben uns willkommen und wohl gefühlt. Das Zimmer hat den Ansprüchen entsprochen und war bei unserer Ankunft bereits bezugsfertig. Die inkludierte Halbpension hat sehr viel geboten und war abwechslungsreich. Personal sehr freundlich! Der Wellness Bereich ist ganz toll Alles in allem ein schöner Aufenthalt!

The Palace Hotel Herviz is a good solid nice place to stay. The rooms are spacious and clean. I love the glass elevators. The staff were friendly and efficient. Only downside for me is they charge a delivery charge for room service which I wouldn't expect from a 4 star hotel...so I ordered food delivered from Wolt

Hilfsbereites Personal, gemütliches Zimmer, sehr gutes Frühstück und Abendessen. Sehr schöne Umgebung. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühl und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Fassade wird derzeit renoviert, im Hotel war davon aber nichts zu merken.

Es war wieder ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Frühstück ist reichlich und das Abendessen lässt kaum Wünsche offen. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Besonderer Dank geht an Andrea, Attila, Thomas, Ursula, David, Edina, Anita. Severin hat wieder wunderbar gesungen. Gern hören wir seine sanfte Stimme öfter. Ihr habt den Aufenthalt wieder besonders gemacht 😘🤗

Really great stay excellent buffet supper & breakfast had a massage pedicure & eyebrow shape all of which were first class.Appreciated fridge & kettle in our room

Die Hotelabrechnung für das Zimmer wurde in Euro verlangt, der Wechselkurs ist dann miserable! Immer in Forint bezahlen!!!!
