Easy to get around. Lots of parking. Staff friendly. Building dated but clean and had an issue with knocking pipes when anyone flushed to loo!

Staff very friendly. But rooms very dated. Loud music coming from other guests until 4 in the morning.

Staff very welcoming and helpful - responded swiftly and accurately to everything asked, but the property is tired and requires extensive maintenance. Pool been shut for 2 years and Heath Spa now shut as well. Breakfast was really quite good. Location suited us as was a short walk to event we were attending nearby.

Friendly staff, always stay here when on business. Never had a bad meal whether that is breakfast or evening meal.

I stayed for 3 nights and never once had cleaning staff come to the room. I left towels on floor as per the sign in bathroom and they were still there when I returned. The sheets were never changed either. The restaurant is overpriced for poor food, I had a funky tasting sausage one morning and mentioned it to waiter. He took my plate and disappeared. Never returned. The staff are really friendly though.

I have never stayed in such a filthy place with no proper WiFi and terrible breakfast …I pre booked for 8 nights through hotels.com I arrived late on the first night and left on the second day …. I have lodged an official complaint with hotels.com as I was refused a refund by the hotel as I had prepaid through hotels.com … Expedia …I then went to a lovely hotel called La PIETTE hotel which was clean friendly and good food

The hotel staff are excellent. They are very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The hotel is comfortable, if a little dated. You need to let them know if an accessible shower is needed as many rooms have a bathtub shower. The food is available until late evening and the bus stop to town is across the road, while the return stop is just a house away.

Mary at La Trelade helped us out and was thoughtful and proactive. She made the visit really stand out. Thank you Mary!

The Hotel is a bit tired and in need of some renovation, but the staff are absolutely fantastic! Nothing is too much trouble for them.

The staff were friendly and the property was clean, if a little tired. Lighting in the bedroom was dim and we fed back that brighter lights would be helpful. The hotel advertises an extensive and varied menu, however the quality of the food was very underwhelming. We gave up and went to other restaurants.

Large and comfortable lounging and dininf areas. Very generous portions for breakfast and dinner of very high quality
