We loved this hotel!! It was close to a lot of restaurants and a great location for public transportation or if you want to walk to the main attractions. They were great - they were able to change our room when we asked for a change. The breakfast is great with plenty of choices. They cleaned the room everyday.

A beautiful property with comfortable rooms and a good breakfast. The only thing that needed improvement was the lack of a water refill station. As climate change becomes a more significant issue, summer travel in Europe is becoming more challenging. Rather than selling bottled water, more travellers are looking for greener and healthier solutions. Installing a water refill station would be very helpful. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

This is a wonderful hotel! Staff were all friendly and helpful. The location is excellent - tram stop (#6, #23) is 30 sec walk, Metro (red line) is 5 mins walk...if you are using public transport you will use both interchangably (in Prague you can use one ticket for both tram and metro). To get into the heart of old town takes about 10 mins on tram, less than 5 mins on metro. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. There were so many varieties of food! The Breakfast Room is large so it's easy to get a table, and so fun being on the top floor for breakfast! We had booked a double room and were given a corner King room - what a treat and huge!! It had six windows! AC was good and windows also open fully if you prefer fresh air. Bathroom great. Housekeeping came every day to freshen the room. Lots of good food options for lunch/supper on the nearby street. I highly recommend this hotel.

Siamo appena rientrati dal nostro viaggio a Praga e devo dire che l'esperienza è stata più che soddisfacente...l'hotel molto bello,abbastanza vicino alla metro,ben collegata con gli altri mezzi...la nostra camera molto spaziosa e pulita,ogni giorno cambio asciugamani e letti fatti...il personale molto gentile, professionale e cordiale...abbiamo apprezzato la colazione abbondante sia dolce che salata!! Ottima struttura per vivere in tranquillità e serenità il tuo viaggio a Praga,la consiglio vivamente!!

This is my second time staying at Hotel Galileo. I love the hotel for a number of reasons. The location is very convenient for public transportation and it's an easy 10-15 minute tram ride to many locations. There are many great restaurants within a 5 minute walk of the hotel. The hotel itself is nice, but make sure you stay in the old building if you want a quiet room. The rooms in the new building face out to a main thorough fare with trams that are loud all night long. We stayed in the old building both times and it's quiet up on the third and fourth floors. The rooms are large with tall ceilings and comfortable beds. The air conditioning works well. Our bathroom had a tub, which is great. The breakfast is one of the main reasons why we returned. It's delicious and has a large choice of pastries, eggs, potatoes, bacon and sausage, fruit, cold cuts, breads, cereals, and yogurt. It's free and make the room price an amazing deal. The only real issue we had this visit was that the elevator was not working for the entire week we were there. We had to climb 8 flights of stairs to the 4th floor and because I have arthritis, this was very hard to do. The hotel offered us a room on the first floor, but it was next to the lobby, bar and front door--very noisy. I contacted Expedia.com and they were able to secure a 20% refund for me, so I still feel good about the stay and would return again on a future visit.

Clean room. But lift was not working. Had to carry my luggage. Staff were ok. Helped store my luggage for later collection. Bathroom was clean and spacious.

The hotel is located in a good area. The rooms are spacious and with everything needed to have a comfortable stay. Breakfast room is located in 5th floor with a beautiful view and ample selection of food to enjoy a good breakfast

I have always booked Hotel Galileo when in Prague. Great location, great staff clean and helpful. I will continue to stay in hotel Galileo.
