I stayed at the Horseshoe a good bit 8 years ago and before, I used to book rooms there for recruiting trips and the HR folks really enjoyed it when I did. The hotel couldn’t be beat back in those days. This time I was pretty disappointed with what I found. First off, the valet parking was shut down and we had to wrestle our luggage through the parking garage… once in the room we found that the bed was looking worn out and the mattress was caved in, limited furniture I’m the room and I remember the previous stays as having a walk I’m shower, not a deep tub to step into. The pillows were oversized and hard, I’m a side sleeper and woke up with a crick in my neck from trying to sleep with and without the pillow. Just disappointed in the room. I was looking forward to waking along the boardwalk but the hotel staff advised staying away from the area now days. Maybe I just got stuck in a rundown room being I booked through a 3rd party.

I think there should be a way you adult children below 21 can use the pool.

Liked it all.The seafood was excellent as usually.New person at register was new from last year and she lacked a good attitude.But will not stop me from the hotel/are restaurant.

From the time I checked in was a disaster. Wasn't informed that it was a pool party at the pool. My whole point of booking the room., was to go to the pool. After getting to the room the tub was dirty, used soap and hair everywhere. To add insult to injury, that same pool party offered up a group of fighters. At midnight they decided to smoke their skunk and fight and bang the walls and doors, until someone came and intervened. I will pass on staying here in the future

Not up to standard for the name of what it wàs the burger bar was the best thing of all Derick water was the best # 10 on service

I liked the hotel but thought the price was a little to high.

The room was close to the casino.

The room was newly renovated. It’s very nice. Stay in a deluxe king of u can. It’s even better. Comfortable bed and pillows. We will be back. But of course some dummy is always smoking weed on a non smoking floor. I think it was in the adjoining room to ours.

When I book my stay, I wasn't informed that pool would be closed for a private party. That was my main reason for booking my stay.

Nice casino. Great place to stay in Shreveport. Restaurants at the casino are great. You don't need to leave the hotel. Highly recommend.
