The staff it was very nice very friendly, but you guys need to upgrade so many things.thanks for everything to go back I don’t think so’.

In a great location that was easy to walk to dining and shopping, we chose to park further away in a parking lot but there is underground parking if you are comfortable with the busy city streets. Only thing would make it more comfortable is a fan in the room for air flow. The staff was so friendly, we would return if we get the chance!

Das Hitel hat Charme. Wir waren nur eine Nacht. Zum Glück hatten wir ein kleines Mietauto, da die Fahrt in der Innenstadt von Ponta Delgada etwas abenteuerlich ist.

The breakfast was good, plentiful and tasty. BUT there was zero variety, day to day. Always the exact same food. Rooms and hallways were quiet and we were beside the elevator - no problem. Get used to narrow streets and people walking everywhere but still respecting each other's space. Good variety of restaurants and bars all within walking distance but there are smokers everywhere and they smoke in the doorways but not inside a business. Weather is OK and changes by the minute. It is windier at the coastlines and Mountain peaks. Some roads are dangerous to drive, narrow and blind corners. Also had a tree across one road and a river rushing across the road. Not passable! Major roads are great with no problems!

Excellent location, near very ice restaurants, bars and shops. Friendly and happy staff, breakfast is very good. WE had sushi dinner at the evening restaurant. Overall, I highly recommend the hotel. Great price value

The staff were amazing. We stayed here twice, arriving before mid-morning in each case, and were able to check in immediately. The staff were extremely kind, the breakfast lovely and the location superb. Highly recommended!!

Prachtig gelegen in het centrum. Ontbijt basic maar ok. Wij hadden er geen probleem mee.

Das Hotel ist sehr zentral in der Altstadt gelegen, man hat kurze Wege zum Einkaufen, Essengehen, Hafen. Ein kostenloser öffentlicher Parkplatz ist ein paar Hundert Meter entfernt. Mein Zimmer lag ruhig zum Hof mit Swimmingpool. Der Pool ist nicht geheizt, das Wasser war kälter als im Atlantik (im Dezember). Sauna oder Spa gibt es nicht, aber ein gutes asiatisches Restaurant im Haus. Das Frühstücksbuffet war okay, aber für meinen Geschmack hätte mehr Obst und Gemüse wie Gurke, Tomate und Paprika dazu gehört und auch Haferflocken oder Müsli wäre schön gewesen. Das Personal war überwiegend sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. In der Stadtmitte würde ich jederzeit wieder dort übernachten.

This hotel and particularly its staff gave us one of our best experiences ever. It started with a warm, friendly yet professional welcome (Maria). The room was comfortable and clean. At night we wanted to have dinner at the the adjacent Japanese restaurant Haibu but there was a wine and sushi fest going on which we could join and we had a great time there: HQ sushi and delicious wines (especially those from Atlantico, produced at Pico island). The hotel owner (Fernando) welcomed us and we had a very pleasant conversation on island life, the history of the building and shared ideas on society, culture, creativity and entrepreneurship. In the morning, the guy from the night shift (Rodrigo) checked us out and brought us good coffee and a breakfast box to go, since the buffet had not yet opened. The splendid service and personal approach makes this hotel very special. We will definitely come back here and yes, for a longer stay. Wonderful!

Certainly could improve on the dull breakfast items and maybe move the coffee machine ( self help) where it is not so congested. Property is very beautiful and staff is outstanding and very helpful.

Great location in the old town. Restaurants and bars close, short walk to everything. Large comfortable rooms. Would stay again.

Todo un acierto. Hotel original y céntrico cuya mayor virtud es la cercanía al centro. El personal, muy atento y servicial. Las habitaciones, amplias y funcionales, aunque los escalones entre el baño y la cama podrían dar un susto a más de un despistado o a personas mayores. Buena limpieza a diario. Debido a la céntrica localización, me dijeron que había pocas plazas de parking, pero yo en ningún momento eché nada de menos porque existe una zona gratuita para aparcar cerca del hotel que normalmente solía tener plazas libres. El desayuno, suficiente en mi opinión. Habrá otras personas tan viajadas como yo que pudieran considerarlo escaso o con poca variedad, pero comparado con la mayoría de hoteles del Reino Unido, Francia o EEUU, es más que completo. Gracias a todos los empleados del hotel por hacer tan grata mi estancia.

Amazing stay here! Staff were very accommodating. It is also a short distance to the airport. Great breakfast, and pool use as well.

The overnight staff on our first day when we arrived early in the morning due to our overnight flight was rude! He was so annoyed that we went to the hotel early morning! Where will we go at 6.00 AM on a Sunday morning? We kept our luggage there and explored the town after couple of hours! Thankfully we didn’t see him after that! Rest of the staff were very nice! Carpet in the room was very dirty! Breakfast- ok! The best part of the hotel was its location!

The experience was delightful. But Since we stayed for nine days the good breakfast became a bit repetitious. A little one new item a day would’ve made a little more exciting.

We liked the Juliette balcony that came with our room and the room was a good size with a nice couch and chair. The bathroom products smelled amazing and the shower was a great rainfall shower. The room would not let you turn the ac down to under 18C. While I know that sounds like it would be cool enough, it never gets below low 70'sF which made it very hard to sleep. The bed was very hard. The pool seemed nice and the building was interesting. The breakfast had great coffee or espresso and a nice selection of items. The renovated music school building is really nice with lots of great art and seating areas. It is walking distance to lots of good places to eat or shop.

Very helpful and pleasant staff. Always happy to advise by request the best beach. Restaurant etc. To my surprise I thought there was a continental muffin and coffee. I was very wrong. They have scrambled eggs, lean bacon and sautéed mushrooms. You can request fried eggs or boiled. Also variety of cheeses, various breads that you heat by toaster. A coffee machine that has 15 selections of coffee, hot milk etc. Also a variety of fresh fruit and yogurt. A few cakes as well. Open from 7-10 breakfast was included. 1001 they transform all the tables for dinner service that goes from 6-10 but not just any dinner. A Japanese restaurant with sushi, udon and more. So good! They also have a cool outdoor swimming pool in the centre of the hotel. Open 8-8 I loved my stay here. I stayed in the superior room and there was lots of space and very nicely decorated.
