un hotel 100% recomendable

I can't say enough about the hotel, the staff and the island but it is like a home away from home. The island is amazing and inviting. The hotel and staff are always amazing and very attentive. Cancún is wonderful but the island is were to stay. Can't wait for my next trip.

Enjoyable stay

The pools are beautiful and the beach access can't be beat. There are lots of beach chairs and the staff is very attentive!

Clean room with gorgeous ocean view. Staff attended to all of our requests. We are Repeat guests at Ixchel for several years because the quality is always excellent!!

Great location!

The breakfast menu was very fresh. My oatmeal had fresh fruit surrounding the outer border of the bowl. However the American coffee was a bit strong. The capaccino was great. The grounds and room had every attention to detail. The rooms are tastefully decorated and very clean. They even had a small English library. The rest of the property is very well kept being maintained daily. You can see the ocean from all rooms from the very large balcony that each room has. The staff will accommodate you every way they can. We will definitely be returning to this hotel the next time we want a little getaway!!

The staff were amazing. I broke my toe and and had a significant cut and lost 2 toenails during a walk the first day. I needed medical attention immediately and they did that for me. The doc got an xray for me same day, in my room. The nurse came daily to clean the open wound and rewraped it daily. Staff was attentive and kind. Great experience! Thank you Elliot for being the best staff everyday. Will absolutely come again!

Everything was great but it was the staff that made it really special. I would stay again. The room was spotless everyday. It has terrific access to the beach. The only thing is it is such a beautiful location that it is pretty busy, that said we were always able to find a seat.

Would definitely stay here again!!

Room 2608 is beautiful and well equipped I would return anytime

Overall great experience! Staff was very pleasant. The amount of children at resort was a bit much at times but that’s not the fault of the hotel rather the parents who were non attentive.

Great staff, wonderful food and drink.

Perfect for a family wedding! Food was delicious, pools were very nice. Great location on the beach and by the main strip. Our kids loved the rafts! Our room was very spacious and we loved having a kitchen! Highly recommend!
