The hotel and staff were excellent. The restaurant staff were attentive and the food was excellent. The rooms were comfortable and quiet, very modern, clean and well appointed. My only regret is that we only had one night to spend there and left very early to catch a plane. The hotel is not extremely close to the airport but the staff made sure to arrange a taxi for us the night before.

Everythng about this hotel was wonderful. The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was great. They had an airport shuttle which was a huge bonus when you see the price of cabs

Dakota Edinburgh was beautiful. It’s a great location for airport, and a short train ride from Edinburgh City Centre (plus a walk from the train station). The food was fantastic and the room was very comfortable. Highly recommend!

Wir wählten das Hotel da wir am nächsten Tag zum Flughafen wollten . Es ist relativ neu, doch ist es schwierig die Koffer über Teppiche zu ziehen. Ausserdem ist es im Zimmer , besonders für Staub Allergiker nicht angenehm. Wir hatten auch einige grosse Staubmäuse!?? Desweiteren roch unser Zimmer nach Rauch, was wir sofort meldeten. Und wurde kein anderes Zimmer angeboten?? Im Restaurant werden perse 10 % Service Gebühr auf das ohnehin sehr teure Essen erhoben , was man aber erst auf der Rechnung sieht , WENN man genau liest und guckt , dh wenn man mehr konsumiert, steigt die Gebühr automatisch, wa wir unverschämt empfanden ( 175 ml Rotwein zB GBP 13, das war einer der günstigsten) . Das Essen schmeckte sehr gut ( Chicken Kiev GBP 24 mit etwas Kartoffelpüree und ca 8 grünen Bohnen) . Wir würden Hotel und Restaurant nicht weiterempfehlen.

Very quiet and secluded. Grocery store nearby, but not much else. Airport shuttle was great. Rooms were modern, clean and spacious.

Staff were always friendly, helpful, smiling and attentive. Chloe was lovely and welcoming.

Excellent location for a morning flight out of Edinburgh. Used the free shuttle to the airport, which was perfect. Very comfortable bed and room. Nice restaurant/bar and breakfast available for purchase, although we didn't use that. Extremely friendly staff.

Beautiful hotel, very updated. The staff was very accommodating. We had an unexpected but welcome addition to our travels and a cot was provided

We stayed at 5 different hotels on our 10 day cross-country trip to Scotland. The Dakota was our favorite by far!! It was attractive and cozy, great food at the restaurant, very clean, beds were actually very comfortable, and the room was spacious enough to set out our suitcases and things to draw from. Would definitely stay there again if we ever make it back to Scotland!! ❤️

Loked the nearby shopping and complementary shuttle.
