Great stay, beautiful hot tub, beautiful building in general, and cozy rooms. Very nice staff as well, though I think the rooms could use a mini fridge at least even if it’s not a suite, and even a microwave. I feel I’ve been in way worse hotels with at least that much. But besides that it’s great. Chilis is delicious as well!

The room was spacious and comfortable. The kitchenette was nice to have. Easy to walk to amenities.

My husband and I came here for our honeymoon and we enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and we appreciated the free bus passes the hotel provided so that we could explore around Banff. The only downside was that there was no fridge or microwave in the room so we couldn’t store or heat up our leftovers. Plus the lighting in the bathroom was too dim, making it a little difficult to see. Besides that we enjoyed our stay!

Nice place. Got an upgrade. Regretfully it had no ac in the loft and the downstairs fireplace had been left on. We tried fans but the room was very hot to sleep in.

Excellent stay! Clean rooms, super friendly staff, and a lovely pool. The hospitality was outstanding, and I thoroughly enjoyed my time here.

Good location and the hotel offered free bus passes. A couple small housekeeping issues but the staff were quick to make everything right.

Stay at Fox is always bullet proof. The suites are clean, and the staff are kind. We love the hotel.

The unique hot tubs are amazing. Room upgrade was pretty nice also. Very friendly and accommodating staff.

Cave hot tub was cool. The room was super expensive even for Banff and quite disappointing. Two double beds and pull out hide a bed. The room advertises sleeps 6 but with one bathroom and double beds no one’s getting a good sleep and everyone’s upset waiting for their turn in the bathroom

We liked our stay despite the initial hiccup with our room and were immediately moved to a 2 suite room. Enjoyed the stay and is conveniently located 15 mins walk from downtown. Banff is a beautiful place and would recommend this hotel for convenience and big size of the suites.

Location is amazing! Bus pass very convenient. The room we were put in unfortunately was very dated. Sofa was extremely sun faded. No air conditioning so for the time of year we had to leave the window open which is fine except for the traffic and train noise. For the over $400 per night spent for two nights it was very steep in our opinion. Check-in and Check-out were smooth, parking underground was great.

Convenient hotel with good pricing. We stayed in a suite with kitchenette; second room and full bathroom were a floor below. Good for larger family. Chili’s on site. Hot tub was busy.

The rock cave pool was unique and fun.

The Grotto Pool was the biggest reason we booked here. It was really nice, although my spouse and I both thought the music in the grotto was annoying. Something relaxing instead of Top 40 hits would’ve been nicer. The rooms themselves were decent. Beds seemed a little shorter than I’m used to. Good toiletries and amenities. Building shows some age and wear but still a nice enough place to stay. Front desk was very kind, helpful, and welcoming. The staff was great.

It’s Banff it honestly speaks for itself. The Fox hotel though was amazing as always, the only thing I’d suggest is for when it’s the end of the day and you’re back in your room settling down id suggest bringing a chrome stick or something to stream Netflix or whatever platform because their TVs aren’t smart TVs.
