Great hotel but need to be renovated

I didn't want to leave. Don't make me go back to the real world! OK, it's not cheap, so there is that, but it is value for money, worth it if you can afford it. Gorgeous room with a huge balcony overlooking the swimming pool and the sea beyond. Walk along the waterfront and past the cidadela to Cascais centro, all of its restaurants and bars and shops. The staff is universally well-motivated and well-trained. Room service is fast and professional. Breakfast is outstanding. WiFi could be a little better, but that's a quibble. This is an outstanding hotel.

We stayed for one night on our way from Porto to Lisbon and immediately wished we had booked more. The hotel is elegant and luxurious, with a spacious suite overlooking the sea. The location is perfect – a short walk to the promenade and marina restaurants. Breakfast was rich and tasty, and the staff was welcoming and professional. We’ll definitely come back!

O hotel é incrível. Muito confortável e luxuoso. Ótima localização. Achei ruim ter um elevador somente funcionando. O spa aparenta ser grande mas vive lotado e eu só consegui fazer uma massagem de 20 minutos. Talvez estejam com poucos funcionários no spa. Não tem sauna. Seja como for, eu voltaria com certeza.

Muito confortável, vista maravilhosa, bom café da manhã, salvo as atendentes, meio displicentes. No geral gostamos muito da experiência. Voltando a Cascais, é um ótimo hotel para se hospedar.

Proximity to beaches

Excelente opção na região de Cascais, muito bem localizado, fácil estacionamento e pode-se ir a pé para a vila. Café da manhã muito bom.

An Amazing stay in a great hotel with very professional and friendly staff. We stayed during national blackout day and the staff was unbelievable reactive by organising a free of charge bbq for all the guests. Never experienced that up to now. Rooms were clean as really nice. Pool was not heated but at a nice temperature that allowed to swim and relax a real 5 star hotel level

My only complaint is that we couldn’t stay longer, we definitely will be back! This hotel has amazing palace facility but the thing that makes it really unique is the team that greets you with a smile and takes care of you way beyond regular. We stayed during the huge blackout, everything was chaotic around but the team took care of us - updating, resuming water supply with a generator and taking care of meals for all guests free of charge! Thank you for the hospitality, thank you for providing comfort and smile!

Excellent 5 star hotel

O hotel é incrível! Já fiquei algumas vezes hospedado! Mas dessa vez foi um total desrespeito comigo! No primeiro dia o hotel estava em overbooking e me fizeram um upgrade! Mas na segunda noite me fizeram desocupar por 4 horas o quarto onde estava para um apartamento no anexo, tive que esperar na rua! Absurdo! Se tivesse ficado no meu quarto original não teria passado por esse stress! A culpa de não ter o quarto não foi minha! O upgrade foi um presente de grego! E além de tudo mesmo sendo Gold com VIP Acess, só permitiram ficar até 12:30, mesmo sendo um Domingo com baixa ocupação. Ao questionar tudo isso na recepção as atendentes ainda ficaram me enfrentando e achando tudo muito normal!! Foi uma decepção!

A luxury hotel with staff providing excellent all round service, dining options truly amazing. Breakfast outstanding.

The pool area does not have view of ocean. The location by water is convenient. There isn’t easy beach access or I haven’t found it yet. :/ Staff is very friendly and helpful. Size of room for suite is positive.

One of the finest hotels we have stayed in, and we have travelled extensively. The room type we reserved was not available so we were given a fabulous upgrade. Everything about this facility is first rate: service, location, restaurant, lounge areas, etc. Highly recommend

Staff was welcoming from the moment we arrived. Their hospitality made us feel right at home. The hotel was very comfortable, the view was beautiful, and the food in all of the restaurants was delicious. We highly recommend Grande Real Villa Italia and will love to return in the future.
